I'M GOING INTO MY THIRD MONTH OF THIS DISASTER. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Counter Top was not cut at 90 degrees, so I have a large gap from the front of the oven to the rear. Backsplash was shorter than the countertop and had a large chip. I paid Lowes $3500 and then had to pay Affinity an additional $960 because they said the initial measurements were wrong. The company will not come back to remeasure. MOREOVER, Installer repositioned my dishwasher and kinked the drain line. This resulted in my kitchen floor being flooded the next morning. Our floor was was wood laminate. Now it is warped and raised. The cost to repair is estimated at $9,000. A LAWSUIT AND INSURANCE ARE MY ONLY ALTERNATIVE

These people gave us the reach around on a $8000 project with Lowe’s. They did not cut our laundry countertops right and left a gap between the old backsplash because the new backsplash was cut too low. They kept saying that we signed a contract with Lowe’s and that it’s Lowe’s problem. We want our money back for the portions that were done wrong. Amanda the customer service rep at affinity has not been helpful at all, and rude. She’s avoiding calls because they don’t want to take responsibility for their own mistakes. On a kitchen renovation close to $10,000 I expect better service than this. We won’t be using affinity again.

Worst experience ever – take your money elsewhere! We purchased a quartz countertop and sink from Affinity in February and an install date was given the day of purchase. One day before the install date we were informed that instead of one seam, they would have to do two seams in the countertop. The day of the install we were called again (by Kyle) to let us know the sink was cracked during shipping, but they would still be bringing the countertop and the sink would be delayed one day. One week passes, meanwhile we have no kitchen sink, and after numerous calls to the office they finally get out and install the sink and counter. Once installed, the seam is an entirely different color and looks like they cut the quartz with a dull blade or something – sparkling white quartz countertop with a yellow adhesive in the seam. They have since been out two more times to “fix” the issue and it looks exactly the same. The last person I spoke to, Moe, said he would come out personally and inspect and get back to me the next day – that was three weeks ago. I called again and spoke to the woman in the office who told me that she would personally see that I get a call back the next day and I have heard nothing. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for your countertop needs. While they may have great product, their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Affinity was great to work with and we are thrilled with results. They did everything they said they would on the date and time they committed to - very punctual. We will definitely go back for future projects.

Description of Work: Sales people were very patient . Ordered granite for bathroom vanity. Took a little longer than expected. No big deal there. Hole was cut too big for faucet although luckly the escution was able to just cover it. Back splash was cut too short. They did redo it with no problem. However that was another trip to Wanatah(1/2 hr drive). They called and said it was ready. I got there and was not completely polished yet. They brought it out and one finished edge had to be sent back and repolished at my request. Total wait time about a 1/2 hr. Brought it back out, had a small scratch, lady at the counter colored it in with a marker and sent me on my way. My biggest mistake was doing a self install. Could have saved alot of running back and forth had I paid them an extra $100 to do it. The Granite does look fantastic

There was a little crack in it when they installed it, which we brought to their attention. They came back and said that they repaired it. We wanted something in writing, and they wrote us a letter, saying that it had been fixed and saying that it had their guarantee that it wouldn't separate again. They have sent people out 3 more times to repair it, and the fissure is now 4 feet long! We've had two other granite companies out to check on it, and they both verified that it was a result of faulty granite or poor installation. Because it happened in the thin part, in front of the sink, we were told that could have been avoided if a rod had been placed correctly through the granite there. If they did install a rod, it was done improperly, or there might not have been a rod at all. Affinity says that they aren't obligated to do anything, because they aren't responsible for it. How are they not responsible, if I have a letter in writing with their guarantee in it and if they've sent 3 techs to repair it already?
