Very well From my initial call to the company to the end of the job was less than 2 hours.

For $190, he added a new spout that enabled the shower/spout water transfer but it's still leaking. He said it would be around $500 to replace the faucet itself. Tub still drips. They were quick to schedule the appointment, got in the same day.

They were on time, professional and completed the job quickly. We had to replace ~ 100 feet of PVC the sludge was so bad. I was very impressed with Mike's attention to detail and his patience explaining everything to me. Very impressed and will definitely use them again. They were also reasonably priced. Thanks guys!

The plumbers showed up on time and were able to resolve the issue in about an hour. There was a full grease clog almost 30' down that they were able to clear. The only downside is I was not given even a ballpark price or hourly rate over the phone, or even told about weekend rates. I would have waited until Monday (as this was done on a Sunday) if I had known the weekend rate was so high. I would definitely reach out to Young Plumbing again for any future issues though. They got the job done quickly.

Everything went well. He was nice guy that gave a fair estimate. I know the estimate was fair because this job was priced out with a few other companies. He seemed to be one of the most knowledgeable people I spoke to so I would recommend him based off our inaction, his fair price, and his clear understanding of the plumbing issue.

They were quick and professional. My pipes burst and water was spraying everywhere. They came and changed the pipes and it took less than 30 minutes.

Very happy with personnel, their work, and they way they handle business. They offer 2 hour windows when you set up an appointment. Carl arrived right on time. He was very personable, professional and efficient. Examined both baths and got right to work. He replaced the flapper in one unit and, after consulting me, replaced the entire flushing mechanism in the other. Very happy with the work. He also adjusted the stopper in one of the bathroom sinks which did not always work properly. When he examined the sink, he immediately saw the problem and know exactly how to fix it and explained what he did. Everything was completed within an hour. I highly recommend this company.

Service was good, arrived on time and did not leave until the job was done.

They are a terrible company with bad service.

Our water heater sprung a leak and proceeded to leak in our laundry room. I checked Angie's List that evening and sent message to Young Plumbing for service. Young Plumbing contacted me first thing in the morning for appointment. Two service men came out and removed old water heater and mess of wrapping around water heater. They replaced with new water heater from their truck. Completed all plumbing that was needed with copper tubing and added two shut off valves to help us out in the future with any plumbing problems. The men that came out were very pleasant, quick and efficient. They explained everything to us about the new equipment. Also, they cleaned up everything and the laundry room looked great! . I would certainly recommend for service and response time. The price was higher than I thought, but I am happy to have it all done within one hour without any fuss or mess. Thank you.

They were right on time, and knew what to do within 20 minutes. They had to cut into the wall from behind the shower to replace the shower valve. That had to be behind my dryer in the laundry room. They did helped move what they needed out of the way. But did not make any drywall repairs. They also had to replace a part for the shower head, where the pipe turns and comes out of the wall, that they may have broken themselves. But they did not have the correct part to replace it with so they used what they had to make it work. The resulting repair was a little sub-par, but should hold. Over all they were professional, and did get the job done. But they were a little pricey.

I called two other companies first. The first one didn't return my phone call and the second said they were scheduling 2-3 weeks out. Well, that won't do when the toilet doesn't work! I called Youngs Plumbing and they said they would be there in 30-45 minutes. Half an hour later the plumber was here! The gentleman was very professional and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and how much it would cost, also what he would need to do if the first plan didn't work, including how much extra it would cost for Plan B. Thankfully, Plan A worked. He augered the toilet 3 times and we were back in business. He also gave me some helpful information regarding our plumbing to help cut down the chances of recurrence. I will definitely use Youngs Plumbing again in the future.

The company scheduled a call same day for a leaking water heater. They actually called to let me know when exactly the technician was on his way over, so I would know when to expect him. The tech came in and checked out my water heater and explained that it would need to be replaced because it was leaking. They got the heater replaced and the old one out of my house for me all in the same visit. I was very pleased with the whole experience, they cleaned up after themselves and when they left, except for the new heater you could not have known they were there.

This outfit is union and so not inexpensive. But John, the owner, is my kind of tradesman?prompt, clear, unequivocal in his advice, backs up his work and responds quickly. Young Plumbing has performed a lot of work on an old cottage that we recently purchased, so this is just one of a number of jobs we have done together in the last 9 months. This job was performed as part of a larger remodel project with HP Construction, but I had used John's people before as well. His people have more than once showed up at 9am on a Sunday for an emergency call. They work from a price book?need burst pipes patched or a new water heater (we've had both)? Here?s the cost, no matter how long it takes to do it. I?ve paid for plumbing by the hour, and I don?t like it. What I appreciate is that John sizes up a situation and tells you what you might do and what you should do and takes the time to explain the difference. I?m the kind of house owner that makes longer term, rather than shorter term, investments in work. So John?s approach is a good fit for me. The shower project was efficient and successful in the sense that the end result is vastly better than what we had before, which was a kluge of garden hoses. Running new pipes to an outdoor shower was part of a larger project that involved gutting the bathroom to get at pipes that had burst during the winter. John's people rerouted all the pipes from the exterior walls and attic to the interior walls and inside the concrete slab foundation. It was a messy business, but it needed to be done. Young Plumbing's work was done thoroughly, sensibly and to code, and this is what I needed for peace of mind and a worry-free winter.

It was impressive. It was good. It was the first time I used them. They were here within 45 minutes after I called them which was fantastic. They guys were very nice and professional. I will absolutely use them again. ? They were very nice fellows. I can?t think of any negative about them. It was a good service. I have an older house and I need plumbing works from time to time and they are my guys now.

It went pretty well, but their prices seem like extremely expensive. They are fast and reliable and they do good work. I probably would not use them in the future.

My tenants called late on a Friday afternoon to say that when either of them flushed or ran water it would back up into both of their basements (duplex). I went there after work with some plumbing equipment that was totally inadequate. On the way I specifically looked for a billboard I had previously seen in Lake Station for Young's to get their phone number. The billboard only had their website (same as listed here) but from that I got their toll free number. I specifically looked for this billboard because I had dealt with Young's a couple of times years ago and had been very satisfied with their service - once for a major job and once for a minor one. After that, however, they had gone out of business. Recently I had noticed this billboard and hoped it was for the same company, resurrected. It was. When I got to the duplex I tried to clear the blockage myself with a snake. I wasn't even able to get to it with my snake and soon figured it was somewhere after the 2 lines joined. I called Young's and the phone was immediately answered by a friendly, courteous, and efficient woman. She listened to the problem, explained their pricing policy, and promised a 30 minute response on this Friday night. 30 minutes later Shawn pulled up in a large, well-equipped truck. He quickly assessed the situation, knew just what to do, and gave me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and explained not only what needed to be done now, but also explained the flaws in our system, how to correct them, and a price for doing the correction. He brought in some major heavy-duty equipment, draped the area to protect it as best as possible, and went to work cleaning the drain. He took all appropriate safety precautions, was very thorough and professional, but friendly at the same time. When he finished he cleaned the area. I'm glad Young's is back in service and my tenants were delighted to be able to use their bathrooms again.

Work was done neatly and professionally. It just seemed like this job should have cost less. He ran hard line 5 feet to the generator and bolted the line to the concrete foundation.

Job was completed- do your homework first and dont get price gauged by this place! I should've read the other comments on that, i guess i overlooked it in a panic of what to do!

They did a terrible job. The guy was here for half hour, charged $350 and didn't get the sink unplugged. So I had to turn out the concrete slab which caused $4000 but that was not that bad as some people had to pay $15,000. So he left still clogged. Then I went and brought compressor for our house, it worked and we used it. They were right here when I called them. I would definitely not use them again.

Everything went perfectly well. They came on time. They came when I needed to have it done. I had work issues and things like that, so they came on my schedule. They quickly did the job and took the old tank water heater away. The hot water heater still functions fine.
