Very professional job. Their employee's were top notch. Called with arrival time and took the time to explain everything that they were going to do. When done they took the time to have us come out and inspect the work, and make sure we were happy. Will use this company from now on.

Timberseal was friendly, professional, timely, and reasonably priced. When it comes time to refinish my wood deck again I will definitely be using them again and would recommend their services.

Hired Timberseal to strip, clean and stain (spray/brush method) Shadowbox Wood (cedar) Fence. The company has its own stain product which (based on previous customers) has its good life span after applied. The job was assigned to two technicians (Justin and Justin) who worked from beginning to the end of the project. Proper protection methods were used to prevent potential over spray. Job was done timely. This team did great job in timely manner. They cleaned job site afterwards. Would hire them again in the future, because they were very detailed, and professional.

It was amazing the difference two days made. The first day Garrett and Stephen came, covered my plants and completely cleaned and cleared my deck of all the mold and old stain and paint. The following day they returned and sanded and smoothed the wood like a baby's butt before they stained the wood. They also replaced boards that were rotted. I am very impressed and so are my neighbors

This was the third time we have used TimberSeal. In 2015 they did a spectacular job refurbishing our multi-level cedar deck and the follow-up work to perform cleaning and finish maintenance work in 2017 and again in 2019 was top notch. The deck looks like it's brand new and it's almost 25 years old.

They did the original stain on this deck, and were fantastic. I had them come back again this year for maintenance. They are always on time, professional, work hard, and meet deadlines. I am very pleased with their work and intend to use them again. Would highly recommend them.

Greg Rentschler and team were great. He came out quickly to quote our job. The work Timberseal did was fantastic. They power washed all our exterior decks and siding on our house. Then they stained and sealed all our decks and dock. Finished product is wonderful. Only minor complaint was that the work was quoted to be done in mid September (on August 2nd) and the work was not completed until the last week of October. BUT, it was done in an area of Indiana where its impossible to find contractors to do work let alone good quality work. Thanks Timberseal!

We are very happy with the job that Timberseal of Valparaiso, IN did refinishing out deck. We had a significant new portion and old portion of the deck that needed to be blended in the same color. Timberseal stripped the old portion stain, sanded/buffed the old boards to make the old boards like new. Then they stained the old and new with their proprietary formula stain. It looks fantastic! The old and new portions blend together wonderfully. We found their work to be high quality, good value, and carefully done. Their personnel are courteous, hard working, knowledgeable about their products and processes. They offer excellent follow-up service to clean and refresh the stain in future years. Their materials and Timberseal stain seem to be excellent. Bottom Line; they are our choice for deck refinishing & we would highly recommend them

Per their brochure, they have a 6 step process to restore decks and fences. We hired them for our deck as it's very weathered and has uneven boards. The main reason for the hire was Step 1 and Step 5. We could have stained the deck ourselves, but since these steps are promoted, we thought it would be worth the money (the cost is not cheap). Step 1 states: Evaluation and Repairs: Techs make any needed repairs to your deck...this can include replacing damaged or missing boards. Step 5: Buffing and/or Sanding the Deck: Techs buff out the deck or other wood in prep for the stain. These steps did not happen, all we got was a power wash and a stain. Our deck is in the same condition it was when they started, it's just a prettier color now. So we called the salesman, who came out and agreed it was not a good job, and said he would talk to the office and have someone come out and fix the problem. We never heard back from anyone (including the salesman), so my husband went into their office to see if the owner would come and look at our deck to say if he was proud of his company's work on our deck. The woman in the office argued with my husband saying that we got what we paid for and she could not help us. She also stated that if the salesman said he would fix the issue, that he would have to pay for it himself as they would not be fixing anything. The owner never came to talk to my husband. This company is a rip off and does not deliver what is promised. Customer service does not exist with them. Save yourself a lot of money and heartache and stay away from this place.

The deck looks like it is brand new. It was a great job.

I feel they did not do their 6 step advertised process on my deck as remnants of previous coating was not removed and stained over

I no longer have a deck so using them in the future doesn't apply. I would refer them to friends.

EXCELLENT! Would definitely recommend. When looking at the completed job, you wouldn't even know that repairs were made. They completed the job before the actual date it was scheduled, were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

Everything was done as promised and up to my expectations .

It was a huge job, especially the railings which had to have old finish removed. It took a little longer than we had originally expected, but the weather was not cooperative and there was a lot of work to be done before the final finish could be applied. They took no short cuts, and everything looks fantastic!

As I said - we did have a problem with the sealing of our pavers. Greg was not sure what might have gone wrong - maybe pavers had moisture in them or to much moisture in the air but with NO HESITATION he was here to look at it and had someone out here to remove the sealer and put a different type on. It came out looking beautiful and exactly what my husband and I had expected it to look like.

Workmen very considerate, conciencious, and efficient. Took time for every inch and detail. Extremelly satisfied.
