Description of Work: My Gas fireplace would not start. NW Fireplace came out, cleaned and adjusted the unit and tested for proper operation. All work was done in professional manner.

Description of Work: Removed steps of my chimney and rebuilt the base after removal, tuckpointed and installed a chimney cap.

Description of Work: Provided Maintence for 2 fireplaces. Octavio the owner was FANTASTIC. wish I had more fireplaces for him to clean.

Description of Work: They helped me find a direct vent fireplace that would fit the opening . The Fireplace was originally wood burning and I had difficulty finding a direct vent that would fit. Von Tobels, although they have been helpful in the past, could not help me. They wanted to sell me a vent free unit and said that I would never be able to have a direct vent fireplace in my opening, Northwest Fireplace came to house and measured and found a small unit that fit. The front had to be custom made so it took a while to come in but they did a great job of installing the unit. The family run company is responsive to the needs of their customers.

Description of Work: I had my chimney cleaned by Northwest Fireplace and Chimney. Octavio returned my called and was very pleasant. I subsequently made an appointment to have the fireplace inspected and cleaned. Ocatavio arrived on time with an assistant, performed the inspection and cleaning and was very neat. He also pointed out some issues with my chimney that I was aware of and suggested ways to fix the problems. I found Northwest Fireplace & Chimney to be fairly priced and straightforward and I would use them again in the future.
