Maglish Plumbing, Heating and Electric

Wonderful company! Last year we hurried up and had new home heating and cooling system installed just as the pandemic was hitting. The installation was quick and painless. In fact, the workmen finished about two hours early without cutting any corners. Very professional! The representative, Tom, was very personable and came out to check the finished job. I believe we may have even gotten an upgrade on the equipment. The two systems have work perfectly. The two maintenance visits were perfect as well. The workman, Tim, arrived on time, took his time to do his job well, and was very polite without being intrusive or falsely friendly. We chose Maglish because a colleague from work recommended them. And sure enough, the best recommendations come from friends. We look forward to Maglish servicing our new systems for decade to come. We will look to them to do other work as well.

It was a system relatively new to the market and there were some initial problems but Maglish never gave up. They got Carrier involved and worked on system until it worked satisfactorily. They also did plumbing work at my mother's house and it was well done. I highly recommend them.

They were prompt, on time, and made sure that the drains worked properly before they left. I would hire them again for any problems.

I've lived in my home for just over a year, since August of 2015. A month or so after the move I had water and a small amount of sewage back up in the basement shower drain. I phoned Maglish and they sent Doug out the next day. He routed out the sewer line to the house that was capped in the front yard. A month later in September the water backed up again. Doug came out again and clear out the line. This time he put down a camera and saw a crack in the line with roots clogging them so he sold me Rid-X root remover for $60 in addition to the cost of the service. This past summer I purchased another container of Rid-X and put it in my drain to hold down the roots until I could plan for the bigger job of replacing the line. On 12/27 it happened again, and I phoned Maglish again. It was after hours and the person answering the phone said he didn't have anyone who could come out until the next morning. Through the night, water backed up in my basement through the lower level drain. I'm not sure what 24 hour service means, but it didn't happen for me. The next morning Mike came out, and provided the same service. and put a camera down (even though I told him that Doug had already done that) and asked me when the last time Doug had been out because the sludge he cut through had been there a long time. In fact, his line snapped while he was clearing the line. He came back a few minutes after having told me this and told me I had to sign a release form that basically said he wasn't responsible for damage caused by a piece of equipment breaking. Then he charged me an extra $110 to replace the piece that broke! For as much business as I'd paid for, I was really bothered by this, I had no idea what shape the equipment was in and that's part of his overhead! I phoned the office and asked to speak with Gary Maglish about my bill. As I guessed, he never returned my call. Shame on me for being so naive as to continue to pay $200-400 for poor quality work and to replace his equipment. It's pitiful that Gary would have his family name on a business that treats people so poorly. This Spring I'll be able to replace my sewer line, but I won't ever call Maglish to do any work.

Great!!! They asked if they could arrive one hour early!!! Professionally repaired light. They were extremely polite and friendly. I'd deifinetly use them again.

They did fine. They were good. I'll assume they were on time, they did the job quickly in and out got it done. If I have any plumbing issues I'll call them again.

Maglish has been the only company we have used for electric, plumbing and hvac since moving here in 2012. It is often one of the owners doing the work. We have had them replace toilets, add a gas line to an exterior fire pit, add a water softener, fix water heater, add electrical outlets and undercounted lights, as well as other things. Great service and are normally on time. I highly recommend Maglish.

Two workers came and located the problem and completed the repairs within 3 hours.

Over this long winter a pipe busted in the ceiling of my finished basement and water was coming from everywhere. I called Maglish immediately and they were here in a very short time. They cut a hole in my ceiling just big enough to determine where it was at and were able to find where the break was and fixed it right away. He was also able to tell me why it busted so we can avoid something like that from happening again. We use Maglish for all of our heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical needs. They are very knowledgeable and their prices are fair.

Both workmen did an excellent job. The electrician was knowledgeable and friendly and professional. He worked quickly and professionally. I would hire Maglish to do electrical work in the future, if I were not moving out of the service area. The price for the electrical work was a bit expensive, but overall I was happy with the work The plumber was also knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He ran into some snags getting my old water heater to drain, and he and another plumber that came by to bring my new water heater, handled the situation wonderfully. They had to take it almost full down the steps of my house, since the water heater was situated in an upstairs closet. They did a great job, and the new water heater is working beautifully. For all the work that they did, the price was right. I was happy with everything. I would definitely recommend this service provider.

My experience with them was excellent. Their technician was very courteous and his name is Mark Johnson. He was in and out and did an excellent job. He came in, took care of the job and did very good work. The charge was over $400 but it was part of our plan, so we didn't pay for it. He came here ahead of time, put covers over his shoes when he came in to repair, so he didn't get things dirty. He knew what had to be done and got it taken care of quickly.

I haven't heard from Maglish Plumbing or the kitchen planner -- no returned phone calls, no quotes. If they both don't want the work, they should just say so.

The gentlemen we worked with were very professional in their approach to solve our problems. They responded quickly to our calls and arrived promptly for scheduled appointments. They stand behind their work and their products.

I was very pleased with his work. The receptionist told me how to go online and print a $25 off coupon, which I used. On Friday, I still had not received a call back to schedule the bathtub work, so I called and asked if he decided he did not want to do this job. I was promptly scheduled for first thing on Friday, May 17th.

Cam on time...foxed the pipe...cleaned up after themselves. He was there an hour and charged about $250. I was hoping for it to be a little cheaper but the job was done well.

I had a drain pipe break on Sun. My family room was flooded (saturated carpet in part of the room) I turned off the water to the house to keep any more water from coming in since I didn't know where it was coming from (behind the wall) I called to tell them I had an emergency and asked how much they charged on Sundays. They said 30% more and I said I would live until Mon. with my problem. They said they would call between 7 and 8AM on Mon. I got no call and called them at 8AM. No one answered the phone and I never heard from them again. I had to scramble that day to find someone else to help with my problem.

Jim and Ray did a great job on the above items. They were very punctual and professional. The quality of work is excellent. The price within $70.00 of another quote and they had an A-B rating on Angie's List. The only negative thing was they were very busy and tooka week to get back to us with a quote - us calling Friday and a week after the walkthrough also.
