Thurs, Oct. 6th 2022: I had called in to Glass Doctor as a rightful follow-up from the past for an estimate on a window panel replacement. At that point from the past, it was well established back then as to how I will call them back again to schedule when I was ready and also able to afford the repair.. Afterwards, by the time I had followed up on my word and then called back to schedule and proceed was when the new girl on the phone had then pretended that I was the problem from not already taking care of everything from the past and during my initial call for the estimate? For some reason, she had felt the need to tell me that I had first called but then ignored the call backs and ignored several messages since then? Hence, I had to correct her that the time from the past was just an initial estimate.. Plus, she didn't seem to understand how I was not officially ready for the immediate repair at the time of the initial estimate due to financial reasons and how I was previously told to just call them back again when I was ready to proceed.. Subsequently, I told her what had happened in reality of actual events and how I was now calling as of TODAY to rightfully be able to proceed and as previously stated.. However, the new girl had then proceeded to riddle me with a deposit being required in order to advance but then wouldn't tell me how much the deposit would cost? Furthermore, she had felt the need to say to me that Glass Doctor already came out once and how they will not come out again, but even though Glass Doctor should've already had the prior measurements and specs in the system from the first time and to then only come out "again" for the actual repair?? In reality of actual events, there would be no other reason for Glass Doctor to otherwise have to come out again other than to make the new repair within the same visit.. Meanwhile, we are merely talking about replacing a glass pane and not literally replacing an entire window. Afterwards, the new girl had finally answered me after I had to ask her numerous times as to how much the new deposit would cost? Additionally, I had found it strange within her level of riddles because I had every intention of paying for the services anyways, but at that point it had come down to the principle of her challenging me for no reason. She then announced how the window replacement would cost $300 and as in referencing a deposit of $150, but despite the previous estimate not costing as much the first time? More than likely, she had no idea what she was talking about and was just repeating to me a standard cost of a window replacement. The new girl had created a negative mentality conversation from the start by pretending that I was the problem in the first place. Then, she couldn't handle me correcting her as to the fact that the previous phone call from the past was in fact just an initial estimate and of course with the prior instructions to just simply call back when ready to proceed. Therefore, it was the combination of her original glitch and then also the compound statements from me questioning her riddles with the deposit that had eventually led to the new girl passive aggressively declining my service. She had an extremely annoying tone and demeanor, and I could tell that she was taking everything way too personal as to what she could not understand. I had told her that her new deposit quote as of today was not the same amount that in which I was told from the past. She then began to pretend to be polite by offering me other recommendations for other glass repair services outside of the Glass Doctor company. At that point, the entire conversation had took a turn for the worst because of her declining my service all together. The convo had turned hostile and I could tell that she was getting a kick out of hearing me suffer in still having to deal with this ongoing issue. Unfortunately, we had argued back and forth and then ultimately hung up 🤦♂️

This is one of the most outstanding companies we have had the pleasure of working with. Seriously professional but also friendly and fun. This time they did our upstairs windows, four casement windows for a total of eight panes. They were in and out in a few hours and now we can see our nice view through our bedroom window! Replacing the panes instead of the entire window saved us a ton of money. As long as your frames are in decent shape, this is the way to go and we feel this is the company to call to have the work done right.

This is a great company with nice owners and qualified workers. Eric, Kevin and Jane were especially helpful to us during this process. Can hardly wait until we can get the rest of these windows fixed!

Very well - they gave me different options - they install at house, we bring in and they repair or we repair with their glass.

They were on time, they fixed the problem and they left absolutely no mess.

they came into our home and covered their shoes. Made repairs to a fifty year old shower enclosure and installed the new door. It took four hours but it was a very professional job and it looks great. They were very easy to deal with and appreciated the business.

Super nice and professional staff. Quick service and excellent price! Got an estimate at a hardware store and they beat the price quite significantly & time frame was a lot quicker also. Hardware store told us it would be better to buy a new window!! So happy that Glass Doctor could fix it. Will go to them for all future glass needs.

We called them on Friday morning with our request for 2 glass panels for cabinet doors. We were told they could cut the panes while we wait, that day. I took the door frames to them but they said they were booked up for the day and didn't know who would have said they would cut the glass panels immediately. I left the frames for them for measurements, and they said it should be by 1PM that day. I hung around the area for 2 ½ hours then went back. The glass was not done and no promise of getting done that day. I went home (40 minute drive). An hour later, they called and said the panes were done. So I drove back to get them. On final payment, they said because of the mis-communications and delay, they would give me a 33% discount. OK! I think they were just under a lot of business pressure. They do a great job and are very reasonable. The circumstances and costing me a half day wasted was not pleasing.

We had to wait for custom parts, but they came right out! I thought they gave me a fair price.

Outstanding service. Mirrors were ready to be picked up the very next day. They even removed the broken mirrors from my car and disposed of them for me. Would recommend this company to everyone.

Stopped in for a quote and the receptionist said they were really busy and someone might be able to make it out in the next 30 days! She took my number and said they would be in contact. I'm not holding my breath!

The price is reasonable. It was a good experience. There wasn't anything bad about it. They're nice and professional.

Our Andersen bow window had two panes that had become foggy from not holding their seals anymore. Ron from Glass Doctor came out and gave us an estimate of approximately $600 for the two panes. He said that eventually the other two panes would probably lose their seals and in fact I had noticed a slight difference in them already when I washed them. He gave us an estimate of $900 if they did all four panes at one time. We were very happy with the estimate since it would've cost us upwards of $5000 to replace the whole window! The crew came out this morning and were very professional. They did a great job! The window looks brand new!! There is also a 10 year warranty! We couldn't be happier!!

They have done a very nice job. We went down there and they submitted the claim to insurance. From walking in through the front door submitting the claim, having the claim done we paid zero money and we were in and out in about 40 to 45 minutes. I was very happy with them.

This window was a special order, and they installed within the timeline initially quoted. While installing they noticed a minor flaw with the new glass and replaced it at no additional charge. I would use use them again.

The technician called the night before and said that he would be here first thing in the morning. He arrived as stated. He went over the windshield work with me. He noticed a chip on the body near the windshield which he put a little paint on for me. He also moved the vehicle id number so that it is easier to read. He was professional, courteous and did a wonderful job. He even was courteous of my dog as she barked the entire time he was here.

I took the car to their shop in Valparaiso where they treated me well and were extremely efficient and courteous. Work was performed at the time agreed for the appointment.

The Glass Doctor did a very good job. They installed the windows nicely. He even helped caulk the outside. They were as prompt as could because you have to order it right off the factory line. The servicemen were very courteous and kind. The windows haven't cracked or leaked since. I would use them again.

. Almost exactly one week later the window glass had arrived to the Portage Office and they called me for an installation date. Technician Frank showed up right on time and replaced the glass in both windows. He was prompt and courteous and madesure they were installed properly and even took off the stickers on the glass and cleaned them. Thanks Technician Frank for doing a very professional job. ...........The Technician Frank was very knowledgeable and did a very professional job in his installation.
