Jim is fantastic. He and his team removed carpeting from two bedrooms and three closets in our house and installed hardwood. They were punctual, professional, and highly skilled. He actually came over to give me a quote on the same day I called him. His prices are very reasonable; we actually ended up paying less than we expected. He explained all the work completely and even made suggestions that I hadn't thought of that GREATLY improved the look of our master closet. He and his team are "above and beyond" skilled workers, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Jim!!

Jim and his crew did a great job at a very fair price. They started on time and finished as planned. They cleaned up their work area each evening. Jim's installation technique was very good. As an example, they also installed tile in our entryway that was exactly level with the wood flooring they installed - no annoying transition piece was needed! We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work and love the results. We would highly recommend Jim and his crew.

Great work at a great price. The contractor was continually on the look-out for ways to save me money. And the end result is beautiful.

Jim and his staff were very professional and just nice people. They had a difficult job due to the original floor being installed improperly, but did a great job of replacing it with a beautiful tile floor.

Excellent! They did a wonderful job. My husband shopped around but their price was great. We have put wood floors in almost every room in the house with one room left with carpet- the carpet is just fine but getting a little older but we are going to rip off a pretty good carpet just to have him lay the wood floor again.

Jim returned my initial call very quickly and came out and provided an estimate just as quickly. Jim was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was needed for the job. They arrived on time the day of installation and were very understanding when there was a glitch and the flooring (which I had ordered) arrived late. The floors look great! I would call Jim again and would definitely recommend him to others.

I would give him A's on everything. They were very nice and polite. If you find anything you think needs redone, they will be happy to fix it. They do lots of other things as well. I feel very fortunate to belong to Angie's List and have found Jim Cox, because I think he is wonderful and I do thank Angie's List for helping me find him.

Great-Jim an his crew moved furniture as needed install our beautiful new basement floor and replaced furniture exactly in the correct places.

We had a bad start with Floors and More by Jim Cox, but he did great work. I have nothing but compliments on the work he did. It is professional and he did it quickly, in a day. He cleaned up well. His price was reasonable.

Jim came out to measure and estimate. Told us how much material to purchase and he was exaclty correct, so did not have to return alot of extra material. Jim recommended the product we used and he was spot on. He also gave some adivce on floor vents to use and this turned out great. His price was as estimated, so no surprises. He said it would take two days, which seemed doubtful, but two days and it was complete. The crew was neat and tidy and cleaned up after the work each day. Every thing about the project went perfectly. Could not be happier. The wife is happy. Jim was recommended by a friend who was also totally pleaed. I am very glad that I called Jim. His ideas and craftsmanship added made the finished job great. He also made some terrific thresholds at the tie-ins to the existing flooring. Looking forward to having Jim back to do some other work.

The entire experience working with Mr. Cox and his crew was very positive. He gave a very fair estimate and did not add any additional charges, even though he did encounter some unforeseen surprises that caused him more work. He was prompt and came when he said he would, estimated the time the entire job would take well; and did (or offered to do) a few extra minor repairs without charge (ie. extra support for the counter over the dishwasher; minor sink repair; troubleshooting a minor electrical problem; and installing new wooden kickboards under the sink cabinetry). He and his crew were courteous, friendly, professional, hardworking, and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. There was only one slight miscommunication about the finished width of the baseboards, but Mr. Cox was very responsive to my concern. Even though it caused him additional work and the miscommunication was at least half my fault, he promptly addressed the issue by changing the baseboard widths and did it without batting an eye, without complaint and without charging me extra. He and his crew were also real craftsmen and were conscientious about how they laid down the wood. They were careful about staggering the variation of natural colors of the wood so there would not accidentally be large areas that were particularly dark or light. Very unusual pieces that might have stood out in a large floor expanse were put in less visible places like in the closets or under appliances. In summation, Floors and More did a very professional job; charged me a very reasonable price, were easy to work with, responsive, and their work resulted in a stunningly beautiful hardwood floor.

Jim and his team were punctual and neat. The entire project was completed in 4 days, ahead of schedule. Jim is a repeat contractor in our home. We have used his services for over 10 years. He is a "jack of all trades" with an eye for quality.

Jim and has team were professional and VERY timely. If he said he would be there at 8:30, he was. The price/value for the amount of work they completed was an extraordinarily good deal. The quality of the work was very good for the floor tile and good for the glass tub surround, except in one area where it met up with the floor tile. Overall, they did a fantastic job for the money!

220.00 He performed as estimated and then some. All was done in one day, which I would not have believed until I saw it done.

FOUND AD IN NEWSPAPER; "YOU BUY IT, I'LL INSTALL IT". JIM CAME TO ESTIMATE AND WAS EXTREMELY CLEAR ON DETAILS AND PRICE. HE TORE OUT OLD VINYL, INSTALLED NEW CEMENT BOARD, CUSTOM CUT TO FIT TILES, GROUTED, AND CLEANED UP INSIDE AND OUTSIDE WHERE HE WET CUT TILE. THE WHOLE JOB WAS DONE IN 1 DAY AS HE SAID IT WOULD BE. HE ALSO HAND FASHIONED A WOOD TRANSITION STRIP FROM BATHROON TO HARDWOOD HALLWAY AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. A REAL PROFESSIONAL CRAFTSMAN!!!!! WE WILL HIRE HIM AGAIN WHEN NEEDED!!!!!

His labor was reasonable. Unfortunately, I do not recall an accurate cost for the labor. He was very flexible and showed up on time. Following the installation, he did a great job of cleaning up the work area. I would definitely recommend him to others.
