Area Tree Co

We had gotten the responding call to our message left and they came out to see the tree in question. It was a split mulberry, tall right next to a deep drainage ditch, propane tank and about twenty feet from our house. They brought in a small self driving lift that worked great. The price for tree cutting has gone up lately because of cost of insurance and equipment. so don't be shocked by prices, it is a VERY dangerous job. Will hire again!

Everything went great. We received a prompt quote and upon accepting the tree was removed within a few days, as we were in no hurry. I can’t say enough about the quality of work and people. Just plain GREAT to deal with! Since they have been providing our firewood for the last three years we thought we’d get an estimate for the tree removal. Glad we did, they beat everyone’s price. One service never even came out to bid. We will ALWAYS use Area Tree Service! BTW – If you get a chance to meet Paul you’ll be glad you did.

I contacted Area Tree Service and they came the next morning. Their crew was extremely polite and polite. They laid down protective boards over all my grass so they could move in their heavy equipment, (including a large crane), with out causing major damage. It took two days to complete and they got the tree off without causing any further damage which was quite a miracle seeing how the monster tree was laying on the house. They also sawed up and removed the tree from my property. Of course I'm not happy about the tree falling down in the first place, but I'm thrilled I used Area Tree Service!!! I don't know how they did the job!!! I couldn't recommend them more--they are SUPER!!! Jim

Appearing at home early afternoon were two bucket trucks, two carrier trucks - one for logs and one for chips, large chipper, Bobcat log loader, and equipment truck and about eight workers who went right about their work. Skilled, professional and seeming assured as to their responsibilities, all the employees worked efficiently. By early evening all work was completed, not a leaf or branch remained on the ground and several people including the owner and both his sons made it a point to check with me for my satisfaction with the work. If you are looking for a company for your tree service I highly recommend this oufit led by Paul Edmonds.

The overall experience was good. They came, did the job as expected and the price was fairly good.

We've used two other area companies over the past 16 years, one higher priced and one that was lower priced, but we were extremely pleased with the work Area Tree Service performed. They were very knowledgeable and professional, cleaned up everything, and the outcome is better than we even expected. We will be having them back to do more of our trees in the very near future.

It went well overall, only complaint was that the tree stumps were thrown over my fence and I have/had to move them.

Paul's crew came out and took down 2 large (40 to 50 foot) blue spruce trees that were dying, ground the stumps and then ground one additional old stump. They were very timely and efficient. They arrived about 3:00 pm and were pulling out at 5:30 pm. Bob, one of the crew members, even fixed their chipper shredder during that time. The had a large 80 foot boom bucket but chose to free climb the trees with ropes to take better care of the property. Clay climbed one tree right next to the house and Ed climbed the other larger tree on the corner of the house. Working simultaneously, with 4 others (who were very good supporting workers) they quickly removed all the limbs in such a manner as to miss all the surrounding bushes and landscaping and then chunked up the log into manageable pieces. They were good enough that It was fascinating to watch them work. They cleaned everything up, took good care of the property, and did an overall excellent job. They even touched up a bit of pruning on another tree that I had done poorly. There were so many chips that they had to go and empty the chipper truck one time. I was very pleased.

THE STUMP WAS THERE A LONG TIME BECAUSE WE WANTED TO FIND A REALLY GOOD COMPANY TO TAKE IT OUT. THIS COMPANY DOES WONDERFUL WORK AND ALL OF THE WORKERS ARE VERY POLITE. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM.
