+ -1 moreI had a flood in my basement and called them to come out and restore my basement (flooring, drywall, electrical etc). When they came out, they cleaned the basement out, hauled some junk, used a sump pump, put in an electrical box and put up some light fixtures. That was it. They were supposed to put drywall in and do flooring and sealing. My insurance company gave me a check to get the work done for 43,000. They took the whole check and did less than 10,000 dollars worth of work. I got a lawyer and I settled out of court for only 5000 of the original 43,000 they took from my insurance company because I didn't want to pay the exorbitant legal fees.

+ 1 moreThey are wonderful to work with - they listen and care and are very trustworthy. I felt very comfortable giving them a key to come in and finish up some work while I had to go to work. They took care of all the plumbing problems and water issues, they painted, put in new flooring, re-installed all of the kitchen appliances perfectly.
Description of Work: My kitchen had serious water issues including some mold. They completely resolved all issues and put my kitchen back together beautifully.

Description of Work: Repaired structure damage from a wind-downed tree. Replaced roofing, siding, framework. Installed replacement fireplace box and chimney. Finished inside of room, drywall, flooring and trim. Applied cut stone to fireplace and re-installed mantel. Did great work, and were responsive to questions and changes. The one slight quibble was that we weren't always notified of days that the crew couldn't show up.

I know it was frustrating to him and this paint was suppose to be premium this was my first time and everyone was extremely nice and patient with my ignorance

Description of Work: I had a fire in my garage and my insurance company recommended Above Board Construction...I called the general manager Sam Allie and he agreed to look at the damages.....He came out and explained in detail what needed to be done to make everything right..Gave me a time frame as to when the job would begin and end...He was extremely courteous and his demeanor was absolutely refreshing..He listened to what i suggested and worked everything into schedule..The workers were very professional...Cleaned up after themselves and finished the job BEFORE the estimated time...Everything was done top notch...This company is very ethical...And they do go above board...I will definayely use in the future...
