Timelyness is a concern, he is unwilling to pursue problems that accrue. Pretty upset with the whole ordeal. My over all experience with this company is not the best. Overall the house is a pretty good house. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone nor would I use this company again,

Dispite minor disputes throughout the project, the overall construction at the time of "move in" was agreeable. We signed the contract 12/11/2003 and contracted to move in 7 months from that date. In 2005 we finally moved in which was more than 11 months past due. Still, we were satisfied with the finished product and began enjoying our new home. Unfortunatly, in early August 2008, our geothermal HVAC system failed and we assumed that basic maintenance and repair would need to be performed as we had experienced before. However, when the system was inspected by a certified Bryant/Carrier installer and service provider, he identified the failure to be a result of exposure to hydrogen sulfide. He also contacted the manufacturer to find out that as a result of the exposure to hydrogen sulfide, our 5 year warrantee was now nullified after 4 years. He recomended no repair and said that we should contact the installing contractor to request replacement. The installer, Sertech Heating and Air Conditioning, of Portland, Indiana did not agree after his inspection. He said he would honor the warrantee for parts only and labor would be at our expense. We then contacted 2 other installers only to be told that they agreed with the original evaluation and that replacement would be the only solution they would recommend. The cost of our system was $12,000.00. After trying to convince Sertech Heating and Air Conditioning, complaining to the Attorney General, and complaining to the manufacturer we finally went into arbitration with the installer through the Better Business Bureau only to be told that our complaint should be taken to the builder Sebestyen and Williams Construction Inc. since our contract was with them. Therefore, in December 2008 we contacted and met with the builder but as of October 30, 2009 he has not provided us any relief. We had done quite a bit of investigating of this problem to prepare for arbitration with Sertech and found out that Sertech's installation did not follow the manufacturers installation manual. These particular units are not to be installed and operated with any hydrogen sulfide present (the manual water quality chart states clearly..."Notice Hydrogen Sulfide...none allowed"). We also discovered through Raleigh Kouns, P.E., Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Legal Services Branch, that failing to install as instructed by the manufacturer's installation manual is also a violation of the Indiana Building Code, where we live. We gave all this information to the builder, SWC in hope that they would be able to convince Sertech Heating and Air Conditioning to correct his error. During this time SWC would say he was talking with the installer and talking with his lawyer trying to get the problem solved, yet 11 months later we have no relief and are currently going into a second winter without heat.
