Description of Work: The Carmel location is where we purchased $1500 area rugs approximately 2.5 yrs ago. We had some puppy stains on the borders of some of these and since we purchased "smart strand" carpet, Heather, of McCools suggested we let their cleaning division clean them since they were not but 2.5 years old verses replacement. We delivered via truck our carpets to the Carmel location which they were to be delivered to their Kokomo location to be cleaned. We spoke with a "Carmen" there and had some concerns with specific requests that required additional costs. We felt confident these needs would be addressed. Our carpets were eventually returned to the Carmel location for our pick up. We feel these carpets were NOT given the effort we requested. They actually now have a musty odor that requires either a re-clean or we will have to unfortunately dispose of our investment. Our main concern here is that they are extremely defensive about our dissatisfaction and are not willing to work with us to even care about our purchasing history of 20 years with this company. We chose through the years to support out local smaller businesses and now we feel we have just been carelessly discarded as they don't care about our loyalty. This is such a small amount of money we want refunded to go somewhere else to use another means or to have them re clean with quality effort needed. The fact that we can't even use our rugs now and they are like "oh,well" shows a lack of integrity.
