+ -1 moreJohn is always happy to come put actual eyes on each and every project we have so that he understands the requirements of the task at hand. He is very knowledgeable with different materials, and especially when we are redesigning a failed part from another manufacturer. He can look at the part, analyze why the part failed, and in a short time, design a better replacement and/or offer a more robust material and deliver exacting tolerances. The wire EDM has delivered many gauges and parts that are accurate to better than .0002", and the CNC parts have had similar results as well. John is always quick to get quotes out, and has very accurate forecasts on part delivery. Even better, on nearly every job we've tasked Cross Road to perform, the parts are delivered AHEAD of the forecasted delivery date! There are many machine shops in the area, but when I need something done right, I just call John. There's no need for spending time with other places! 260-335-2772.
Description of Work: CRPT machined several gauges so that we can maintain tight specification tolerances on production equipment for glassmaking. John Fennig (owner) has also fabricated many other items we need including drain covers, catch pans, jig brackets to maintain alignment, just about anything we can think of. Cross Road Precision Tool is my first choice any time I need something done right the first time, in a timely manner, and at a reasonable cost. When operating a 24/7 manufacturing facility, it's essential that orders like this are completed by the scheduled time, with no fuss from incorrectly machined parts. Cross Road delivers on this!
