 + -1 moreWorking with Mary Ellen was wonderful! I had never used a designer before and was not sure what to expect. Mary Ellen came to our home and quickly got to work. She looked at every aspect of the room, and took lots of measurements and pictures. She talked to us in depth about how we use our kitchen and the adjoining spaces. She looked at the flow between the kitchen, dining room, and family room. Within a few days, Mary Ellen sent us three different designs for our kitchen. She also contacted cabinet makers and countertop suppliers and obtained quotes for us. Mary Ellen was always available to answer questions, and she was very willing to 'tweak' our final design choice so that it worked exactly as we wanted it to. In addition, Mary Ellen has a great personality. She is very down to earth and does not make any attempt to upsell. She truly wants to help you design a space that works for you. Description of Work: We purchased an older home and needed a kitchen remodel. We had Mary Ellen come in to help us determine the best way to use the existing kitchen space. Mary Ellen gave us three unique designs to work with. If we had done it without her help, we probably would have just put cabinets where they had been before. We're so happy we contacted Mary Ellen. She made suggestions that we would never have thought of, and made much better use of the kitchen space we had to work with.
