Good, some minor issues on attention to detail occasionally crop up but are corrected and identified

I called for service and was put on the schedule right away. They came each time as scheduled. I called once for a change and the change was made right away. I appreciate the service.

Generally not well. They trimmed over 6 feet off of the ground of one of my evergreens, stating that it was "standard" service. The guys did not seem to realize the differences between spring and fall blooming bushes because they trimmed them all down equally taking away all of the lilac and hydrangea buds for this year. They barely put a dusting of mulch in many areas, often under an inch. Finally, they never provided an estimate for their work, despite many requests, until the job was nearly completed. I must say to be fair that they are experts at getting the surface presentation to look good. If you want your house to look exactly like others they have done, then I would recommend them if you can afford them. However, if you have any unusual landscaping, I would be sure to give them very specific orders in order avoid confusion between what you might think is standard practice and what believe it to be. Finally, in my experience, they are very expensive. They say they are less than Metzger/Mascari, but I have had more done by these companies for less, personally.

I try to mow and trim my own yard, but sometimes it is just to much. Especially in the spring and fall, I ask the super team at Rose Hill Lawncare to trim, edge, mulch, sculpt. They transformed our gangly flower garden into something balanced and beautiful. Our yard looks good, and ready for me to maintain for the weeks and months ahead. I am so very grateful!

Estimator was very attentive to what we wanted and worked out a plan that fit our budget. At the time of service, the material and labor needed to do the job right went a little over the estimate, but we were not charged extra. Crew worked hard and answered any questions. The owner was on site most of the time that work was going on. Lots of good pointers given on how to keep everything looking good until next year.

I had used 2 other service providers in Terre Haute over the summer. They never showed up when they were supposed to and their work was sloppy. Rose Hill was a lifesaver! They were prompt, communication was excellent. Their work is beyond words! It was perfect, these guys are true artists in every sense of the word. They uncovered sidewalks I didn't even know I had! They definitely take their time and make sure everything is done right. They've converted me into a new customer. I wouldn't use anyone else now.

Cary returned my call right away. We were desperate as the recent storm had our yard looking like a disaster zone with trees uprooted and limbs all over the place and blocking the driveway and doorway to the house. Cary came out, gave me a quote and his crew came out the next day and started cutting the trees up and hauling them away for us. I also had them mow for us and edge the lawn as we were expecting guests for the weekend. They went above and beyond my request and we, as well as our guest, were very impressed with their work. We are so impressed that we are going to have them take care of some other trees for us and also take care of our lawn off and on to give it that professional look.

Most of the time, I take care of my own lawn, BUT when I need it to look sharp or if I am on vacation, I call Rose Lawn Care. I suspect many companies would not want this kind of business, since it is not every week, but Rose Lawn Care are friendly and professional. They are happy to do this work. I come home from vacation and the lawn looks better than his has all summer. All the edges are great. This company has earned my respect and my business. I will always call for bigger jobs too, like landscaping and mulching.

Rsose Hill has done my lawn care and snow removal for approximately 5 years. They provide excellent service. Their responsiveness after a snow is awesome. They frequently have my patio and driveway clear before I get up in the morning. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so.

Cary and his crew did an absolutely wonderful job on my yard which had been devastated by the drought of 2012. They also did several other maintenance things for me and brought my yard back to "showcase green" again. During the winter I had foot surgery and called Cary about one of the snows and he and a friend came over to shovel snow for me because I couldn't. Great people, great work!!!

Cary and his Rose Hill crew were prompt. Each member of his crew was polite, professional, and hard working. We felt we received great value. Cary, himself, was present for at least nine hours. All the unwanted vines were removed. The trees were trimmed up and mulched. The flower beds were weeded. I feel like I got great value, both in the services provided and the products (like mulch) which I purchased. Cary was able to get another contractor to take out four stumps the same day as his crew was working. I will definitely use Rose Hill Lawn Care again.

Right from the beginning, Cary was both friendly and professional, and his design ideas and options for how to make our house look its best took our tastes into account and in short, were excellent. He gave us a detailed estimate, with various options clearly spelled out,. The price was more than fair, and there was lots of communication throughout the process. Rose Hill's landscapers did a wonderful job, and our project was done in 2 days. They were personable and solicited our opinion when there were options for placing plants. It looks fantastic now. We live in a neighborhood where the houses have lots of nice landscaping, and our house had a very neglected yard with no gardens when we moved in a few months ago. Now, we both fit right in (in that we have a nicely landscaped yard too) and we stand out (in that Rose Hill designed our landscaping both to reflect our own taste and to take advantage of the features of our house/yard). We had a very positive experience working with Cary and Rose Hill, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Rose Hill Landscaping to anyone in the Terre Haute area. Rose Hill won the local newspaper's Reader's Choice award for landscaping and after working with them, it's clear why.

We had to discontinue the service after significant damage to our property by their crew during both mowing and snow removal. Our property suffered more damage from their work than it had in its previous 80 years. Damage to driveway, sidewalk, front and rear steps, and landscaping. Every time they visited there was fresh damage somewhere. When we mentioned it, the response was that landscaping is their primary business now. I should have discontinued their service when the owner "helped" me clear ice from my windshield by vigorously hacking at both the ice on the rear glass and my car's paint. They are clearly trying to get on to the next job. It would be cheaper to pay more for a better service than to pay for their service and the subsequent repairs to your property. The lawn looked good after every visit but after a few years the damage began to build up.

After contacting Cary initially, he came out to the house within the week to give us a quote (first time using this company). He gave a very reasonable quote considering we have lots of flower gardens around our home. His employees came out about 3 weeks later (which is what I was told initially because I had called later in the spring) and they worked hard all day cleaning out our beds. I was very impressed with the time and care they took with our bushes, which looked pretty rough considering the drought we had last summer, and making sure to ask me if I was happy with the way they were trimming everything. They then edged, mulched and left me some extra mulch so I could finish up a hosta garden I was working on. All employees were very friendly and very hard working. They spent 2 full days cleaning out beds and laying approximately 28 yards of mulch.

Called the provider, but no answer so had to left detailed message with the services that I wanted as well as my name phone number and my address. I just built a new home and needed landscaping for my front and side yards....this was a big job...and I was planning on spending considerable $ to have it looking beautiful. I did not receive any response from them. They had been recommended from a friend of mine, and I felt good about helping a local business. I am very disappointed. I expected that I would at least receive a phone call acknowledging my message, but nothing....apparently they did not need my business.

All the guys seemed to have a set job. They worked from the time they arrived until they left. No one was idle.

This was a pretty simple job. A person had made ruts in my yard with some heavy equipment. The company responded quickly and sent someone to fill them and plant grass seed. However, instead of applying soil along the entire length of the tire tracks and then raking it smooth, they simply dumped soil in the deepest parts. I asked them to come back to fill in all of the ruts and I received the response they couldn't see any other shallow spaces. I asked that that someone give me a 15 to 30 minute notice and I would show them and they said they couldn't do that. (I just had two other service providers the week before do that very thing.) I was asked to mark where I wanted dirt placed with flags. I took 20 minutes one evening placing sticks along the obvious places where the truck had driven. They came back and filled in where I had indicated and then I had to go back out and remove the sticks. It was just a big hassle for a pretty simple task.

Rose Hill was able to remove snow quickly and inexpensively from my driveway with short notice in time for a party. Thank you

Their work is excellent and their price is excellent. They are just very friendly and very nice to work with and they always go above and beyond.

They are good and I would use them again in the future.
