 + -1 morehe came early around 845. he was friendly and did it quick. it works great. the people at ketner are all very nice. i called them friday and they came the next tuesday. it was also on the low end of the estimate. i will use them again if needed.

 + -1 moreWork was performed as promised without any drama. The work area was left clean and tidy. Mr. Ketner met us at the house and gave us a quote. He answer all our questions and was very forthcoming and professional. His price was in the expected range. One-third was paid when a work date was set and the rest paid upon completion of the job. I recommend Ketner & Sons for electricl work and will call upon them again should I require it.
Description of Work: Installed a 2" pipe riser, 200 amp meter base, 200 amp square D 30 circuit breaker panel with main,sufficentbreakers to tie into existing circuits and gound.

Description of Work: The provider came to my home, looked at all the memorabilia, said he would get back to me within a few days but never did and convinced me he was the best for the job. I gave him a document of old railroad importance from Terre Haute which I thought would show him I am interested in him working for me and thought it might influence him to get my quote and start the job so it could be complete BUT NO!!! I HAD TO CALL HIS OFFICE AND HE ACTED AS THOUGH I WAS A COMPLETE STRANGER. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. HE DID KEEP THE DOCUMENT I GAVE HIM, THOUGH!!!

 + -1 moreThey removed knob and tube wiring in our 1928 house. They re-wired through out the house. Also had a few other projects performed at the same time. Ketner and Sons were punctual from bid to the completion of the work. Mr. Ketner came by and called regularly to ensure all our needs/questions were responded to and that we were getting the quality we expected.

 + 0 moreWe are pleased with their work. They call before coming, arrive on time or notify you if there is a delay, and know what they are doing.We have asked for Josh the last two times, as he is very competent.
Description of Work: Electrician installed a outlet inside the house close to an ironing board, and also installed a GFI outlet ouside our home so that we could plug in an electric mower and electric string trimmer. This involved two hours of labor, as he had to poke a hole in a wall, go through crawl space, etc. He also installed a pole breaker in our electrical box. This is the third time in the last few years that we have used this company.

 + -1 moreThey show up on time. They put booties over their shoes so they're not tracking stuff in. They lay moving pads down where they are working so there is protection and no mess. They are very personable, very professional, and they talk to you on your level. Their hygiene was good and their vehicles were clean. That means a lot to me. The price and quality are great. I would use them again in the future every chance I get.

First air conditioning company guy just duct tape the fuse for my air conditioning and furnace combo rather than fixing it correctly. We have used Ketner and Sons for years. My dad used them when his dad was doing the business. We have always used them. They have always been punctual. They have always been honest. They tell exactly what needs to be done. They are affordable.

 + -1 moreMr. Ketner could easily have come out and charged me for a service call. He simply talked me through the issue, saving me $75. Any future problems and I'll call him immediately. He's clearly honest and trustworthy.
Description of Work: When I got home this evening, half the overhead lights in my house weren't working. I called Mr. Ketner and he talked me through the issue. (The recent storm knocked out a breaker, apparently.) One breaker was "spongy." It looked like it was on the "On" position. It wasn't quite.

 + -1 moreThe electricians were prompt and worked very efficiently. They were able to complete the work in one day, when originally scheduled for more. They were courteous and very professional. They minimized the amount of wall patching that had to be done and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I'd hire them back in a minute.
Description of Work: They rewired four knob and tube light fixtures and switches. Dropped several outlets in bedrooms upstairs. The upstairs wiring was all on two breakers, one for the lights and one for the outlets. They put in a subpanel upstairs and reapportioned the wiring upstairs to it so each room was on it's own breaker.

I would not even consider using them now. If they can't give you and estimate on time I can only imagine what it would be like to work with them.
