+ -1 moreWe purchased and are remodeling a home built in the late 1800's. This home required all new windows. Thank goodness we found Sean Jensen the owner of A&B Windows. Sean is the most polite,professional,fair and helpful contractor you could want. He helped us select windows appropriate for our older home. Sean thoroughly instructed us on window type,style,design and cost, allowing us to make an informed decision when choosing the windows best for our home. He was competative and fair in his pricing,and offered suggestions and ideas to ensure that we were pleased with the results of his work. We are very impressed with the quality of craftmanship of his workers. During the installation process Sean and his crew were professional in that they showed up on time,left a clean work area every night,and communicated with us daily.We were so pleased with the work of the A&B crew we asked them perform more of our remodeling needs and plan to use them again in the near future.

Description of Work: I called late on the evening of September 27th and talked to Dave. He said I had reached the emergency after hours number but he would take my number and call me the next morning. It is now the 2nd of October and I had to call him back as he misplaced my number. Sorry, that does not count in todays business world. Laziness and having no organization is a sign of poor workmanship. I would be afraid to use him now for fear they would misplace parts to the windows I need installed. Gordon Pearson

Description of Work: Made appt to have someone come out and look at a window that I wanted to replace. Took in exact measurements and was told by the owner David Funk an aproximate price but they would be out later that day or tomorrow to give me an exact price. Didnt hear from them that week so the next week I called and they said they hadnt had a chance to send someone out but would later that day or tomorrow. This continued for another 2 weeks and several phone calls that ended just like all the others. The owner wouldnt take my calls. Lots of excuses and no action. Finally after a month of trying to get an exact price I was told that they werent going to give me a price because the estimate they had given me earlier was too low. I told them that I could understand that mistakes could be made and tell me what the windows would cost. Even then they told me that they would not give me a price. Wasted a month trying to get an estimate. I am probably lucky that this happened because if the estimate was this much of a mess I can imagine what their work would of been like.

+ -1 moreHE WAS TO PUT IN FAICIA AND SOFFITT, IT IS NOT DONE. IT IS ON THE BILL TO BE DONE. HE HAS NOT COMPLETED CAULKING THE WINDOWS. ALSO HE DID THE SIDING, IT IS COMING OFF. AND SOME OF IT IS CROOKED. HE SIDED OVER THE MAILBOX SLOT, THE DOORBELL AND THE ELECTRICAL FOR THE OUTSIDE LIGHT. I MET WITH DAVE, THE OWNER AND DAVE SAID, " I WILL HAVE TO GET BACK WITH YOU ON THIS". HE ASKED FOR MY SON'S PHONE NUMBER AND SAID HE WOULD ONLY DEAL WITH ONE OF US. HE HASN'T CALLED MY SON. HE ALSO BROKE THE BACK MOTION DETECTOR AND HASN'T FIXED IT. THE GIRL IN THE OFFICE RECEIVES AN "A".( WINDOWS $8382.22 RE ROOF THE HOUSE AND SIDING AND GUTTER $12330.74). SHAWN JAMES DID THE ESTIMATE 08/20/03.
