We called him summer of 2012. He came and put in the attic fan but said he could not put in the plugs & lights until later. We called him a few more times but he never did come back that summer. Then it was winter & we do not have heat in the barns and we have lights & plugs already in the barns so we did not call him in the winter. Then we called him in the spring 2013 and he said he would come. He came about a month later. His electrical ability is fine. He knows how to install electric fine. I did not like is his hourly rate. Top pay for a licensed electrician is $30 per hour. He charges $55 per hour and he brings a helper so it was $110 per hour. If he had been honest up front and told us his rate was $55 per hour times 2 we would never had hired him. I will not ever hire him again. I will find someone with a reasonable rate. It is half out fault for trusting him.
Description of Work: Added more plugs and lights in our 2 barns. Added 1 plug in the basement. Put in attic fan.

Response from Enterprise Electric Inc
In 30 years of doing business in this community we have never had a problem like this. We do commercial and residential work. We are licensed and bonded and we do our best to do an excellent job and keep the costs reasonable. Our employees are master and journeymen electricians and the owner is on the job.We use quality material and we strictly adhere to the area electrical codes so we can sleep at night knowing you are safe! On the [Member Name Removed] job we were recommended to them and they never asked about our prices or cost. They were told we were very busy and being that we are a two man shop it would be a while and if they wanted to get someone else we would understand but they agreed to wait. The amount of work we did was greatly understated. We rewired the barn and installed a new service along with light fixtures and plugs. we also added 220v plugs and lights in a wood shop, installed 110v plug in their basement, installed new wire to a pole light in their yard, and hooked up an attic fan When a business charges a rate it does not just include the hourly rate for the employee. It also includes insurance, gas, office wages, etc. We would not be in business long if we did it the way the [Member Name Removed] suggested. They were never charged a trip charge or a service call despite the fact they live in Decatur and we are in Spencerville, In. We sincerely regret that they felt this way and we hope this clears up the negative review they felt they had to give.
