Gave us estimate one day and completed the job as promised the next day. They worked quickly, professionally and the work was top quality.

When told that I would be contacted in only two days to verify that I was home and could provide access, I was very pleased by the quick attention. The day arrived and at 5:05 pm after not hearing from Harvey's, I called them to inquire if they were indeed going to show up as promised. The Harvey's owner informed me that he had already been by my house two or three times, and I "should answer my door when someone was beating on it." Later, upon further conversation I learned that he had arrived (without phoning as promised), early in the afternoon. I work an odd shift, and generally sleep from 4 am to noon. That day, my day off, I was sleeping a little late and did not hear him. Harvey's further stated that at 4:40 pm he again came to my house, but admitted he did not approach the door, but upon not seeing any lights on, he figured I was not home. Throughout my experience with Harvey's, he continued to be rude and insulting, but I wanted my water heater fixed and just quietly resolved never to hire him again. Harvey's inspected my furnace, and got my water heater lit. I inquired what his opinion was as regarding my water heater, and got nebulous answers about burners being too efficient, and possible obstruction below the water heater. This work took 20 min., and cost me $55.00. A little steep since my water heater problem was not diagnosed. After one burner cycle, the pilot again went out. So overall, I found Harvey's to be rude, lacking in professional standards, and overpriced for the "value" I received.
