It all went very well. HIGHLY recommended.

Work done quickly, as arranged per telephone. I was not able to be present when workers were at my residence. Gutter debris cleaned from deck, but just dumped in gardens -- would have preferred the debris was cleaned up and removed. Mr Ellerman called me about the debris, and indicated that he was willing to send his foreman out to clean up the debris -- not necessary, but a gesture very appreciated. I will definitely call this business again.

work was completed on time, however the wrong color shingles were installed Dennis did agree to replace them with the correct color but it took over a month to get it done. they did show up and completed the job and it looks great. and Dennis replaced the shingles at no cost to me for which i am grateful. overall i would use ellerman roofing again.

They did the job and it looks great. You have to look really close-up to see any difference in the replacement shingles they matched very well. I would definitely call them again. Thanks Denny & crew.

They are just wonderful. We have neighbors who had used them before and they've recommended them highly. We could recommend them to anybody; in fact, I've recommended them to other people. They were prompt and courteous. They cleaned up everything and we didn't even know that they were here when they finished. I have no problems with them at all.

Called and requested quote for leak in roof of a rented home for the homeowner as requested by the tenants. Promptly inspected property and submitted bid. When asked to complete the work after the homeowner approved- did so before major snow storm so that further structural damage would occur.

Mr. Ellerman came to evaluate and estimate, then sent crew next day.

Gave me an estimate ina timely fashion and did the work the next day. He had to work around lots of garden beds and didn't mash a single flower. Good work.

I called late on a Friday evening and Mr. Ellerman answered promptly. I was really startled because it was after 5pm and expected to leave a message. He was very courteous and informed me that it could possibly be looked at on Saturday. However, his foreman needed to finish another job first. The foreman was unable to look at it Saturday and called me to let me know that he would be out there Monday morning. Everything went fine and problem fixed. Both individuals were very up front and professional. I would certainly use Ellerman Roofing again. Thanks.

It went very smooth. I called him for an estimate. He was there and did an estimate within a couple days. We told him to go ahead. He had his crew there and the job done in no time. We now have no leaks!!! Thank you Ellerman Roofing! I wish all contractors were so responsive and responsible.

I have a number of small issues with my roof that I needed to get fixed, so I started calling around on Wednesday to get some estimates. Ellerman didn't answer when I called, so I left a message asking him to call me back. About 30 hours later I got a call back from the owner. I told him I had a number of issues I would like him to take a look at and get me an estimate for and listed off a few (but not all) of them. He asked for my address and said he'd try and send somebody out sometime that day. When I told him nobody would be home to point out the issues he said, "that's fine, we'll take a look" and hung up before I could even tell him everything I wanted done. If he ever showed up, I have no idea as I haven't received any kind of estimate from him. He also was very reluctant to do any work on metal roofs. <edit> After speaking with Ellerman some more I believe this was primarily due to poor communication/misunderstanding. I bear him no ill will and in no way wish this to reflect on the quality of his work. </edit>

He is very intelligent. He’s always on time and prompt at returning calls. He’s never had to reschedule an appointment. The work always turns out great.

Requested repair on ridge vent. Estimate was less than 24 hours later! While doing the inspection, they noted the sagging gutters and rolled the repair for that into the estimate. At my request, they installed a down spout on the east side of the backyard gutters. Very quick and well done work, even in bad weather!

We were thoroughly delighted with Denny! Very relaible, and very responsible. Over the years, we've had questions/issues with the roof, and he's happy to help us out and perform repairs. I have recommended him to others.

Came out to the house to inpsect roof for hail damage - none reported. Was a little difficult to get in touch with on the phone. When the insurance company eventually did come out, they reported no damage as well. Since my insurance company is NOT State Farm, I am concluding that Ellerman made the right diagnosis

We had a roof leak that we needed to repair in preparation of selling our home. Since our roof is older we had Denny (Dennis Ellerman) give us an estimate on a full roof replacement in anticipation of selling our home. His estimate was the most reasonable of the 4 estimates we received for this job. Given that we were soon to sell our home and very concerned about recouping the cost of the roof replacement in our sale price, Denny gave us his opinion about whether we should replace the whole roof or just repair it. When we chose to repair it, he quickly fit us into his schedule to accommodate our time line. The repair is good at this time, no more leaks. None of the potential buyers have mentioned that quality of the roof at all as the thing that is deterring them from buying the house. We have yet to sell the house. But we are very glad that we did not splurge for the whole roof prior to having it addressed by a potential buyer. If it is addressed at a later date we will definitely use Ellerman Roofing for the roof replacement. Dennis Ellerman was recommended to us as "the only guy to do your roof in Bloomington" by former customers not associated with Angie's List.

They did a good job. I will be using them again. They returned phone calls really well. They sent people over right away to look at the roof. They seem to be quicker than most companies to get to the work.

The proposal process went just fine. We will get a bid from Ellerman on any future roofing needs.
