The owner Dave Tarrance was one of five companies that gave us estimates. Crawlspace Doctor had the best price for the work we wanted done. Dave listened to all our concerns about our crawlspace and offered solutions to help us resolve the issues. During the work he stopped in personally to keep us updated on the progress of the job, which took five days. His crew was very polite and disposed of all debris (old insulation) each night.

We contacted Crawlspace Doctor and were blessed to get Dave Tarrence & his crew. Ours was not an easy job since the crawlspace was super narrow on the west end but they did a super job and at a great price when compared to the other companies we had contacted. We have a 40+ year old double wide trailer and when I say there was a lot of debri under it, that would be an understatement but it looks great now. We were also impressed by the crew at how quickly & efficiently they worked and by nice they all are. They also cleaned up the work site which is a plus in our book. Dave and his crew are super nice folks.

Called David Terrence and he came out for estimate the next morning. He reviewed the water infiltration into both craw spaces and explained that because of a wrap around deck preventing digging a perimeter drain on the outside the best solution was a new sump pit at the furnace crawl space and better one at the existing pit area. He was very helpful and at no time tried to sell me something that probably wouldn’t stop the water problems without spending tens of thousands of dollars. How rare is it that that happens? Many thanks to Crawlspace Doctor. While I can’t rate their work I can attest to their honesty and helpful advice.

Dave and his team were awesome! Dave showed me pictures of the crawlspace before the work, talked me through everthing we needed to do, and quoted a very fair and detailed price. Dave was very accessible through the whole process, and his team was so professional. They were courteous, cleaned up everything, did an amazing job, and even hand dug our sump pump line! Dave came back and went through the whole space with us. So, what was a damp, dirty crawlspace is now a dry, insulated, beautiful crawlspace! I am worry-free now about mold and standing water under the house, and on top of that I have a beautiful crawlspace door and new insulation.

When Chris Crow came to our home for the initial visit, he checked out our entire crawlspace , took a lot of pictures, and gave us his recommendations. They worked at our house for 5 days.. They workers were very courteous and did a great job. When the job was completed Chris came back to our house and he and my husband inspected all of the work that had been. From contact through Angie's list until weeks after install Dave and his team were prompt, ALWAYS returned calls, even when we called them by accident. They even prepared a list that went above and beyond. James was our installer and he was fantastic. We have no clue about crawlspaces and bombarded them with questions, before, during and after installation, and we feel that we can call them anytime since we don't know that much still. Dave came out to sign off the inspection and noticed a leak from our downstairs bathroom. He went back down and installed a bucket until we called a plumber. We would recommend and personally use them again for any issues with the crawl space. Expect lots of banging during install.

Dave Tarrence was wonderful to work with. His crew of three men worked very hard when the weather outside was very cold. They seldom took breaks and worked until after dark. It was amazing that they finished in only 2 1/2 days! They were always polite and answered any questions that we asked. Since then, Dave Tarrence has called at least 2 times to make sure that we are still happy. The price that Dave quoted ended up exactly what he said it would be. I highly recommend them!!!!!

It was good. I talked with the owner and I've had him come out because I actually had several issues with them. I was very dissatisfied with their follow up after taking money down and not contacting me to schedule the work. I had to initiate 3 calls to get them to call me. They required a third of the money down which I understand is really standard for that franchise, but that's not typically how I do business. I paid them and we had agreed that we would start work the first of October and they let an entire week go by. I called them on Friday at quarter to 5 and asked them what's going on. They said they were behind. I said, "Pick up the phone and tell somebody that. I was expecting you to be here." He said he was a week behind and I told him he will be calling me the next Friday to let me know they are going to start. He never called the following Friday. I called him again at quarter to 5 on Friday and asked, "Where's my call?" He said they were still a week behind. At that point, I asked to talk to the owner and I did talk to him. He came out here. Everything got resolved, but there were a lot of little issues that I was not very happy with. I was told the work will take 2 days and it ended up with 3. After they got here all the job, they told me it was going to be more, like 4, and that was unacceptable. That was another issue that we had. They did some other things too like they tore out my crawlspace window well which was perfectly good. It was made out of steel and replaced it with a plastic thing, which wasn't in the scope of work. We never talked about that. The workers said that it was leaking water down. It has never leaked water. That crawlspace was bone dry. There has never been any water in that so it was just bogus. It was just something they didn't communicate with their people. I was okay after I talked to the owner but I really don't know if I would recommend them to anybody. I just don't feel good about it. They showed up on time but they never called for 3 weeks, I had to call him. I think they did good work but when they are not calling their customer and let us know stuff especially when I have to call them to schedule work that I have already paid for and I asked them to call me a week later and at quarter to 5 the following week I had to call them again and ask when they are going to call me.

They did a pretty good job. We had an inspection on our house. The inspector wanted something undone that they did. The guy there said it was okay. Everything did work out though and passed inspection.

The work was started at an agreed time. Many photos (before and after) were taken and needed work was explained in detail. Crawlspace doctor was especially good at detailing the progress and answering questions. The workmen were polite and competent. The work was completed on time and my son (a mechanical engineer) gave his seal of approval.

They insulated our crawlspace. This was one of the best things we have had done to our home. It has saved us considerably on our heating bills. The floors in our home are so warm you can go bare foot in the middle of winter. I would recommend that everyone should have this done to their home. The Crawlspace Doctor is one of the best companies I have ever worked with and the owner Chris Crow is one of the most honest and nicest people you will ever meet. If you are thinking about having this done to your home you should do it you will not be sorry.

They were thorough but very high priced and wanted to do I thought more work than what was necessary. He followed up a few weeks ago and wanted to know if he could do the service and I told him no because I had already had a couple other quotes from other contractors that were rated A on Angie's list. Neither one of those recommended the expensive work that this provider had suggested. I thought they were excessive on what needed to be done. What was recommended I felt was excessive.

Everything went very smoothly. The work has not been totally completed and I need to contact Dave Tarrence. We had a water leak in the bathroom and it had to be fixed before his job could be completed. That has now been completed. I need to call and arrange to have this project completed but I am 100% sure there will be no problems. Dave Tarrence and his crew were very easy to work with and everything on my side went extremely well. Good company to work with and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I contacted this company for an estimate on waterproofing my basement. They returned my call the same day and was very professional. Although I was informed they do not waterproof basements, only crawlspaces. The gentleman was nice enough to refer me to another company who did basement waterproofing. As a result, they shouldn't be listed in basement waterproofing.

Received phone call the week before work started to check on the start date. Crew arrived promptly on start date, worked steadily every day until work was completed. Workmen answered all questions courteously and thoroughly. Very complimentary of their management - telling me to contact them with any questions I might have after work was finished.

The overall experience went awesome. They did all the work and was here every morning, and they had they work done in no time. The owner even come out to inspect the crawl space to make sure it was done right. And it was.

Overall the crew was absolutely awesome. I was very pleased with everything they did. The crew was very punctual, personable, professional, and polite. I would have them back in a heartbeat. they water proofed my crawlspace, tore out old and wet insulation, installed a french drain, cleaned out all debris, and installed a new door to my crawlspace. I can't say enough good things about these folks. I highly recommend this outfit to everyone.
