 + 6 moreJeff and his crew did an "above and beyond job"! Jeff took pictures of work before and after. We asked that they install 3 light sockets under our crawl space and they installed an extra at no charge. They really did a thorough job with repairs and installing new installation and clean up. I highly recommend Jeff and his company. We will definitely call Your Handyman 1st with future house issues.
Description of Work: Cleaned up squirrel store of walnuts, took out wet and ruined installation, installed installation, installed light sockets, fixed electrical wiring squirrel chewed on, put covers on electrical components, took off rotten trim on exterior and replaced it and painted area, sprayed for mold.

The most important thing that made working with Jeff a good experience is his dedication to good customer service. I would recommend Jeff and his team for any project, large or small, and he will work closely with you every step of the way. Great work and I feel fortunate to have selected a contractor wisely.

I have been looking for a trusted, quality 1st, and price friendly HandyMan for 12 years to do work around my house and to refer to all of my clients...Jeff is the best!!
Description of Work: I have had Jeff work with 4 of my Sellers and/or Buyers to fix their homes based on the Inspection Report results. Jeff arrived at the work site either ahead of the scheduled time and/or on time. His detail to excellence in all aspects of the work he completes is excellent and of high quality. Jeff completes all work in a timely manner. Also, Jeff was very professional in servicing all of my clients. Jeff's estimates are very detailed. In great detail, Jeff explained each item to be fixed to my clients. I have selected Jeff as my preferred HandyMan/Contractor to work on all of my clients homes. Jeff has returned all of my calls in a timely manner. More often than not, Jeff actually answered his phone which is a rare in today's HandyMan environment. Finally, I am going to have my house painted and have selected Jeff to do the work!

I have referred three people to him in the neighborhood, and all thank me for the referral. I would be unable to do items myself, and they consistently show up and take on whatever task is needed. He charges a fair price when I have made comparisons. I would not be able to remain independent if I did have have his company for help.
Description of Work: Service has extended over 1 1/2 years: Labeling circuit breakers; handing curtain rods, building a step; installing thermostat; fixing door; repairing fireplace; changing light bulbs inside and out; working on furnace filters,etc; repairing drywall; painting; installing patio steps; checking fire alarms; hanging new closet door; repairing shower stall; fixing toilet, etc.

 + 2 moreJeff responded fairly quickly and said that he would get back in touch with me to set up a time for an estimate. That was the last I heard from him even after I left messages twice. For a very highly rated handyman, Jeff appears to have very little respect for future customers. Not returning phone messages is, to me, the ultimate in unprofessional behavior. It's a shame, because the reviews speak so highly of him. I can't imagine Angies List giving him a "Super Service Reward".

 + -1 moreJeff and his crew were fantastic! They were fast and efficient, and they cleaned up everything. They even hauled off my old ramp. It only took them four hours to complete the work. Included in their price was the wood that was needed. They built my ramp out of deck wood that will not rot. I was very satisfied. The crew was courteous and professional, as well.
Description of Work: I had four small jobs for Jeff. He repaired the threshold from my kitchen to the backyard, built a ramp for my outdoor shed, made the big gate easier to open, and fixed the wood that had rotted on the playhouse.

They were able to squeeze me in in spite of being very busy, and that extra effort created a loyal customer in this guy. I'll use them again any time something comes up without bothering to call anyone else. Professional, polite and good at what they do. What else is there in a service provider?

 + 7 moreIt went excellent. I am so happy I found them! They do wonderful work and are truly the nicest people to work with. They completely gutted my bathroom (before and after pictures are below) and were able to do everything from moving floor vents, moving plumbing, removing bulk heads, fixing electrical, as well as a custom glass shower. I also had them install and paint all new interior doors and install new laminate countertops in my kitchen. They truly care about doing a great job which is so nice. They are busy but worth the wait. I would definitely hire them again.

They even painted over the nails heads on my porch and crown molding. They are definitely my go to handy man there isn't anything they can't do. Have already hired them to come back and cut down a 25 yr old blue spruce that has seen better days. They are very reasonable priced and they aren.t satisfied until you are. They are animal friendly my dog loves them.

Door trims, Storm door and entry door removed. Entry cleaned out for new frame. Installation of new pre-hung entry door. Leveled door. Informed owner when leaving worksite for lunch/hardware run. Reinstalled trim, Transferred hardware to new door. Reinstalled storm door. Cleaned up all construction debris and dirt. Only wish would be to confirm start time window for installation /or/ call prior to arrival.

 + 3 moreThis is the 3rd job we have had done. Jeff, Robert and Robert Sr spent 2 weeks at our house doing this work. We actually added the backsplash and extra trim after they started the work and they had no problem adding the extra work in. I had no concerns having them in our house while we were at work. They really take pride in their work. We found a couple of places that needed caulked after they left and they came back and fixed them within 2 days. We have received lots of compliments on their work. I'm including pictures with this review. We have other projects that we want done later in the year and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
Description of Work: They painted the interior first floor, installed vinyl plank flooring, installed a kitchen backsplash and added some trim in the living & dining room.

 + 3 moreThis is the second job we have had them do for us. They were very helpful with picking out the floor and paint. They fixed several places in the drywall and replaced trim where my dogs had either scratched or chewed. They worked around the furniture in the basement moving it as they went. This was really helpful since we had no where to store it. They did a great job as can be seen in the pictures. They are currently working on a third job for us that should be finished in the next week.
