Description of Work: Had Rick hang 2 faux wood 70X64 blinds and mount flat screen TV mount above fireplace in morter. Rick charges flat rate of 32.00 an hour. I asked him to price the jobs on a flat rate but Rick does not work that scale. Divides his hourly time in 4 units. The problem I had was he initially hung the brackets for the first blind than noticed that the blind may come down as their was plenty of room for the blind to slip out of bracket. Rick notified me of the problem then rehung the brackets first trying to add a spacer (did not work) then settled on mounting the brackets inside top window instead of the sides. When you are paying by the hour redo's start getting expensive (why I would rather pay by job). 2 hours to hang one 70X64 blind and to remove the extra slats at the bottom of the blind. TV Mount ran into problems and Rick made adjustment to the TV Mount even though my TV owners manual and the purchased TV Mount were both acceptable and uniform. 2 hours to mount TV. Rick was a gentleman and offered suggestions for other issues he spotted.

Description of Work: The handyman fixed my Lazy Susan which had become detached from the cabinet. He was very thorough and explained what had happened and how he was going to fix it. He then followed and did what he said. On the way out he noticed a problem with a new lock I replaced on the front door. He asked if I wanted it fixed, did so and showed me what was wrong. He was there for only 45 mins and charged me only for 3/4th of his labor rate. I gave him a large tip because he was professional, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous.
