We were having trouble with our clothes not drying. It was taking up to four cycles to get dry. We went out and bought a new dryer thinking that would take care of it. With the new dryer it was still taking two cycles to dry. We contacted Mr.Cox by email and he replied within 24 hours stating that it was possible the vent was clogged and how we can check. My husband checked the vent and it was clogged in three places. He cleaned it out and we havent had problems since! I loved how he sent us information to troubleshoot the problem instead of charging us to come out to look at it and fix something we could fix on our own! He was very prompt with his replies and we really appreciate him giving us that information! I would definitely contact him again if we ever need some more work done!

I called Rick about 10:30 on a very cold Saturday morning in January. He was on a job, but promised to arrive in about one hour. He didn't make the hour deadline, but he called to explain why he would be late. After explaining he fee structure, he got straight to work, realligning the key plates, and placing shims behind the hinges for the main door. For the storm door he practically disassembled the door, resetting the aluminum frame and and readjusting the hydrolyic door closer. I watched the process closely in hopes of learning something about door repair. He exhibited a great deal of patience in this observation process. In the final analysis he used a different approach from what I would have used, but his approach was more direct and effective. His charges were reasonable, and his willingness to work on Saturday was impressive. I plan to use his services again for small jobs.

I discussed these tasks with Rick Cox by phone and found him knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work on these assorted tasks. He gave me some great pointers on keeping my costs down, and explained in detail his fee schedule and pricing structure. He was knowledgeable enough to provide an estimate by my description of the tasks to be accomplished. Rick's partner, Al Dodson, was the one whose skills and schedule most closely matched what we needed. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He accomplished 4 tasks in less time than we had estimated for 3 of them, and the total fee was less than I expected. I will call Your Handman in the future in a heartbeat for tasks that need to be done that I'm not able to do myself!! I highly recommend either of this service provider!!!!

I had rick over one entire day to repair subfloor, add flashing to the rood to fix a leak, epair soffit, and get the automatic garage door working again. Subsequently, I had Rick over two times to install can lights in the bathroom and kitchen and install a new light switch in the bathroom and change the wiring around on the swicth. I had Rick come over another time to install a new threshhold on the garage service door. Rick is very good at all of these thngs. If there is soemthing he doesen't know how to do or doesn,t want to do, he will tell you. He is very puncutal, quick and does a good job. I will definetly call him again when I need something done.

The gentleman came out the very same day I called him (within the hour I initially called him) and repaired all three problems. I am very satisfied with the service. He was excellent.

Overall, a positive experience. All the handywork is done well with the exception of the toilet, which STILL doesn't work properly. Would've been an A+ experience, except for the fact that he shared with us how EXTREMELY religious he is. He's quite intolerant of gays, women preachers,unmarried people "living in sin," etc. In this day and age, you never know who you're talking to, so its best to leave religion and politics out of business conversations. A good handyman, overall, but a bit more discretion is necessary.

Great! I kept adding things to the list and he offered some great suggestions for us on lighting that turned out fantastic.

He did a great job. He closed in the hole for the price quoted even though it took longer than originally projected. He was courteous and professional. A great value for the money considering I was quoted $225 by the Critter Control company who originally diagnosed our problem.

Rick explained how the vent pipe through the roof works and what areas it was venting inside the house. He told me that the vent boot surrounding the pipe on the roof might have deteriorated causing the leak. He then went into the attic, took pictures of the vent pipes in the attic for me, examined the pipes for leaks and found no new leaks. It appears that the pipes in question had been repaired in the past. This was a great relief to me to know there were no new leaks and understand the purpose of the vent pipes in the attic before I added more insulation that would have covered some of this area. He was very efficient, thorough and helpful at a very reasonable price for his time and effort. He also recommended some companies for other issues I had with the house. I'm sure I will use his services again.

I thought I was my dryer but it turned out it was just the breaker. He is just wonderful He get right down tothe job and get's it done. He cleans up after himself and is easy to talk to and always explains. He is reasonable in price as well.
