Dan arrived for the estimate and gave us several options of what could be done to repair the frame around our back door. He advised that he would pick up the trim molding and if we ordered the storm door, he would pick it up from Lowe's for us being as how we do not have a vehicle large enough to do so. Dan's team arrived as scheduled and performed the job as indicated. He found that he could repair the frame on the back door without having to actually replace it which saved us some money. Once the job was completed, there was an issue with where the quarter round molding met up with the trim in the kitchen so we called Dan to see if he could come back to correct it. He worked us in to his schedule and figured out a solution to make the connection look better and only charged us for one hour of labor rather than the 2 to 3 hours that he had actually spent on it. It was overall a very good experience with Dan and we would hire him again!

I called them and Dan answered his phone promptly. I explained that I was installing a microwave/convection oven over our stove, and that I had done all the preparation required, but I wanted someone to verify I had done the preparation correctly, and then help me lift the unit up into place. Dan said they could help me with that. He said that they were booked up for weeks, but Rick Cox was in the area, and that he would have him call me. Rick called me soon after, and said that since it was such a small task for him, he would be able to get to me later that day. After he arrived, he verified that I had done the preparation correctly. We then lifted the unit in place and finished the installation. I really appreciate them fitting me in on such a short notice. I also can't believe the small amount they charge.

At our beach vacation home located on Upper Captiva Island, Florida during the month of February 2013 we hired Rick Cox, who is the owner of ?YOUR HANDYMAN? from Brownsburg, Indiana. He worked for us on February13, 16 and 20, 2013. We paid him $723 for his services. We found him to be very analytical, logical and knowledgeable in all aspects of resolving outstanding problems involving electrical, carpentry, and plumbing issues in our home. We recommend him highly to anyone who needs a reliable, honest, and capable handyman to fix any type of problem in a home and would hire him again if the opportunity comes up again when he returns to Southwest Florida. Dan was great, responsive, reliable, and did a great job. Part of the cost for the services included the cost of a garage door opener - passed through.

They did a great job. The price included materials and labor. I am very happy with their work.

They were excellent with the time factor in returning calls and stuff and I have no complaints so far. I spoke with them over the phone and they sent me the pictures showing what can be done, so they were good. What they have done so far looks really good. The price is very, very competitive. They were very, very punctual.

Window was break-in, window was broken. Company boarded up until replacement could be done.

I called Dan on a Monday and Tuesday morning he arrived as promised. He worked very hard helping disassemble unit Pedestals and reassembling with the stacking kit for the two person job. In about an hour it was done and he was on his way. Very professional, very efficient. Did not feel like I was "on the clock" or that he dawdled. We got right to it and it was perfect. I would definitely use him again for any number of things around the home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Dan arrived on time and proceeded to install the outdoor lights. After this was done he then started to work on the Doors. Finished job in mid-afternoon.

Overall it was just great. Dan took my suggestions and concerns seriously, designed a very attractive, sturdy shelter and worked it in among his other jobs in order to get it done before cold weather really set in. He suggested the most appropriate material and even insulated the shelter at my request. He also suggested some more things we could do to help further protect the structure from winter weather. Very pleasant to work with, showed up as expected, very professional.

Rick always seems to know how to solve any household problem. If it is not something that he does personally, he knows someone else good that you can call to get the problem taken care of at a reasonable price.

Excellent response & fair price. I did have a minor problem with the new circuit faulting a couple of times, but Dan came right out and changed the service to another breaker. No problems since. Can't ask for more than that.

Called Rick and told him we were going to put the house on the market and needed some miscellaneous items addressed. All items were addressed professionally and punctionally.

Mr. Cox gave me a quote over the phone which was ~1/3 of the price another "handyman" had given me. I was a little nervous about having him do work without a written quote and without even having met him face to face, but I had a timeline under which I had to have the work completed. He called me once he arrived at my house and confirmed the work he was going to do. When I returned home, I was thrilled that he did exactly what he said he would do, at the price he quoted over the phone. The work included some repairs to my wood deck and shed and he did a very good job. I would use his services again.

Mr. Cox came immediately for the estimate of my projects. He began at my earliest availability. Everything that I had asked to be fixed is not working great. He was very neat and worked very efficiently which I appreciated since he charged by the hour. I would have him back again.

I'm sorry the date may be off a little or a lot -- I just don't remember and I've taken too long to write this review. The ceiling fan in our living room decided to drop to the floor one day. We went to Lowes and picked out a new fan and needed someone to install it. After searching on Angie's List I found the Handyman in Brownsburg. I was very impressed when I called and liked the way the business operates. The partners have specialty areas wherein they work, and while the person I talked to didn't work on electrical work, his partner did. He took all the information on the phone and was able to give me an estimate of both the time and the cost that would be involved and said that he would refer it to his partner. We also discussed a credenza that I had purchased that needed to be put together. On the day of the appointment the Handyman arrived on time. He completed the installation of the fan in under the time estimated. He also visually inspected the fan in another room that was wobbling and told us what needed to be done to tighten it. Then because he was still under the time allotted for the appointment, he completed the credenza as well for very little money more. Both men (on the phone and at home) were professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I will definitely use this company again for handyman type tasks we are unable to perform ourselves.

Rick gave me a very reasonable estimate, we agreed on the price and what was to be done. He tore out the old rotted door frame as well as some unseen wood needing replacing. Installed new door frame, installed my new storm door, cleaned up job site, final price was as agreed. I will hire him again! P.S. His price was a 1/3 of other estimates.

In the past they have fixed a ceiling fan, put new screen in my windows, redone my cable, moved furniture, and did some plumbing work. I think the price if fair and they get the job done very quickly. They will also clean up when they are done.

It was wonderful from start to finish. They were prompt/efficient/professional/courteous and extremely fair. I would recommend them to anyone!

He is quite capable. He can do a lot of different things. He cleans up after himself and doesn't leave a mess. He is good about recommending someone else who will do a good job if he can't do the job.

Rick is very efficient and showed up when he said he would. I was able to allow him to have access to the rental house when I wasn’t there which was great. He is very trustworthy and professional. I would definitely recommend him to others.
