Abda Inc Custom Window Fashions

We went to their shop and chose what we liked but before ordering, the salesman wisely suggested that he visit and check out our window locations, lighting, etc. when that was completed! we ordered and it took no time at all for the window treatments to come in and be installed. Good work, professional, pleasant, and competent. Communication was an A Plus!

Jerry the owner, came to our home twice to show us the options and to work on just the right shade of "white" to match the trim in our home. He is detailed oriented and took the time to explain available product lines and the differences. He knows which window dressing will look best in your home. I am already reccomending ABDA to others and will definitely use this company again for window treatments. They were right on with time quotes, my plantation shutters came in and were installed exactly as noted.

Working with owners Jerry and Pat Rebb as well as their staff (from Denise who answers the phone to installers Rick and Ben) was wonderful from start to finish!!!! We selected ABDA because their services include draperies and cornices as well as blinds. We needed window coverings for our entire newly built home (more than 30 windows). We knew we wanted a custom look - window treatments that accentuated the beauty and functionality of the windows instead of just covering them, but had no idea what treatments would provide the look we were going for. We felt ABDA could provide us more options than other providers who deal with only blinds. Jerry met with us on several occasions. We found him to be very knowledgeable and willing to listen to our needs and wants: he was quickly able to show us several products that gave us the look we wanted. He was even able to provide us with a similar but less expensive option for our breakfast room windows when our budget did not match our wish list. We eventually selected the higher end Hunter Douglas shades in our family room (Pirouette) and master bedroom (Duette), but were also pleased with the less expensive selections in our other rooms. We loved the Pirouette shades so much that we asked Jerry to come back and install them in our music and dining rooms as well!! Jerry put a rush on our order so that our window coverings could be installed the day after we moved in. He and Rick installed the shades and blinds in our 30 windows in just over 2 hours. They did such a good job and were so quick and neat, it was like they were never there! Due to Jerry?s precise measurements, the space between the sides of the blinds / shades and the window casings is almost non-existent for a truly custom look!! We couldn?t be happier with our new window coverings! And it was a pleasure working with a company who values quality products, excellent service, responsiveness, courtesy and honesty! We will definitely work with ABDA again should the need arise!

It was very nice working with the entire staff. They were professional and friendly. I liked that the business is faith based! The Hunter Douglas blinds are very nice and they did a great job installing them! The only problem ~ the vertical slats on the one door wall were two different dye lots. After being installed, they had to reorder and replace the original ones! The second set was perfect and the blinds look great!

Jerry and Pat have done all the window treatments in our last two houses here in Indy and also at my business. They have always been outstanding to work with. Prompt, professional, trustworthy and fairly priced. This most recent purchase was for our vacation home in Florida. I was not happy with the Hunter Douglas people I was speaking with in FL, so I called Jerry and asked if he could help. I was able to go to his showroom and pick out the blinds I wanted and then he walked me through exactly how to measure the window openings. He placed the order for us and had it shipped directly to the house in Florida. We installed them ourselves and they are perfect. I know this is not something he normally does and I really appreciated Jerry going out of his way to help. I'm sure his profit margin was pretty low on this particular project and he was really just doing me a favor. I recommend them often and I would not purchase window treatments anywhere else. Great. Very prompt in coming out to show what's available and get measurements, etc. Once I selected the product I wanted, they were very prompt in getting back to me with cost and time to produce the product estimates. They delivered right on time and the installation process was fast and efficient. The cord on one of the kitchen blinds broke in about a month, but when I called them, they were very prompt and courteous in coming out to replace the cord. It seems to be working fine now. Everyone I dealt with - phone, salesman, and installers - was very polite, prompt and pleasing to work with.

They are great to work with. I have used them before with great results and I will use them again. The estimator came out with different designs of blinds and rods and I chose from that. These were custom blinds and they were on time with their time estimate. The blinds had a manufacturers defect, ABDA kept me informed throughout the whole reordering process. The installation went fine once the new blinds came in. Overall, I have been pleased with their work and highly recommend.

Everything has been fine. They respond reasonably quickly. They do the work on time and do everything promised. They are pretty accurate with their time estimates. And when they were making the custom blinds, they put up disposable ones in the meantime. I have used them several times and they do great work and I like their product.

They were excellent. They wanted to do the work the way we wanted them to do it. The workers were very professional throughout the experience. We had them do work for us in the past and knew we wanted them back. They came from Indianapolis to Kentucky to go over the different types of treatments we wanted. The turnaround time was pretty normal and they drove back down to install. The installation went perfect. They are genuinely nice people and just want to please the customer.

Everything was great. I felt like pricing was a little high, but other than that, they were excellent. The worker was on time and did everything I needed done. They brought the fabrics to my home to go over. I told them what I was looking for over the phone and their fabrics matched what I was looking for. I liked their variety. It took about 6 weeks to make the curtains. He was able to get the work done in less than two hours.

They came and measured and we picked out the shade of wood for the blinds. They returned and installed them and everything was great.

Everything went well. Jerry was great. Very responsive and knowledgable about his product. We are very pleased with the finished product. We still have two rooms left to do and will be contacting them again once we are ready to complete those rooms.

This was a great experience because ABDA did everything they said they would do. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in window treatments.

The whole process went very well. In addition to Jerry's helpfulness, the installers were very professional as well. Rick and Ben were outstanding. The plantation shutters are beautiful!

It was so easy working with Jerry. We have moved in from out of state and coordinating the move with work needed on the new house proved daunting. Butr Jerry understood all of this and was so accomodating. And we have ordered more blinds from him. A great company to work with.

Everything has been great. The owner came out and gave the options based on what I was explaining. I got a timely estimate that I was happy with and received an Angie's List discount. They came out and performed the service and have done a great job. They have also been nice to work with.

Jerry was very friendly, very helpful and very patient with us, which was a good thing because we had unusual windows and it took us a while to figure out the best option for our windows. Jerry guided us through the selection process and even came back for the install since we were not a straight forward install. The shutters look AMAZING! We love them. Thanks Jerry!

Jerry Rebb came to measure all windows and discuss options for blinds/shades. After researching the options for a couple of days, he returned with the option that worked best for look and budget. The blinds were then installed a couple of weeks later and look great and are the look I wanted.

we called for an estimate for our new house , the business owner came, he was very polite and professional, he showed us all kind of shades but my husband was specifically interested in the honey comb shades because we heard they are energy efficient and save on heat bills. he showed us honey comb shades with beautiful prints on them and we fell in love with them. Abda was the third estimate we got, we felt comfortable with the price and the quality. we also checked Abda inc on Angies list, they had good reviews so we went with them, told us its going to take about 3-6 weeks to get the shades. we got them after 3 weeks, they tried to be clean and quite especially because we had a new baby. I liked that about them. it took them about 8 hours to install the shades for the whole house. we had few problems in opening and closing some of the shades at the beginning because it was their first time to install this kind of shades with tracks on the windows. we called them about it, they came in the same week and did few tweaks to make it easy to open and close the shades. overall we are satisfied with their service.

I had 3 different companies come out to give me estimates. Jerry was very knowledgeable and professional and gave great input to help determine the best solutions for our spaces. His prices were very competitive and reasonable. He even gave us a temporary paper shade to use in the bathroom until the new blinds came in. The blinds and shades came in and were installed in the time frame as quoted. I have to say that I have used many different service companies in many different areas, but Jerry has by far been one of the best quality individuals I have ever worked with! I will most definately use him for any future work I need done, and would highly recommend him to others without hesitation!

They are wonderful; they are fabulous. I am using them again this year; I will be calling them again next week. The price was very reasonable.

The measurements were right on as the blinds fit perfectly. Jerry Rebb was our salesman as well as the installer due to the scheduled installer being detained at another job that took longer than planned. Jerry was very patient with our three dogs who seem to be able to anticipate where you're going and manage to get there first. After installation we discussed adding fabric panels to the windows. Jerry suggested we live with the blinds for a while before making a final decision regarding panels. Most blind and drapery companies would be pushing for the panels right away. Any future purchases for blinds, window coverings, throw pillows or upholstery will be from Jerry. Highly recommend this company!
