Sunrise Handyman

Got work scheduled and done quickly. A misunderstanding in that we thought after ceiling tile was up that it would have a finished look, not huge white blotches. They did go the extra mile and put up some moulding but was a combination of different moulding and door casing that does not match and at peaks the pieces did not come together, large spaces there. patched 2 holes in the closet wall with no backing, one of which the material is now badly cracked and uneven and the other is very rough Patching was not sanded for the most part. Wonder if that will hold. Overall, an unprofessional job inside. We couldn't really see outside work for quality workmanship which is scary but very disappointed in quality of work.

Sunrise performed all I asked them to do, and brought to my attention another item that needed fixing. They showed up on time, left the space clean. I am pleased and would like to hire him again for bigger jobs.

Everything went well. Sunrise Handyman arrived a day ahead of time. Which was a nice suprise. They finshed as promised, cleaned up the area and took away the old fencing. I did hire sunrise again to repair my garage. Which was done as quickly and efficiently as the fence was. I am very pleased with the work.

Not only did they put together a complex heavy piece of furniture in just under two hours, they came promptly. When finished with the building, they moved the furniture, reconnected the tv to make sure it worked, took all the boxes and “junk” to the trash area, and picked up any construction remnants in the room. Thoughtful and polite.

The provider started on July 25, 2022, removing the old flooring, started painting the interior walls with painted with brush which left visible paint strokes instead of spray paint, then he installed the laminate wood flooring, then base boards installed uneven with white paint overlapping the gray paint on the walls or caulking to fill in the large gaps. The ceiling white paint was lapping over the gray paint on the walls. The provider painted over the light switches, door hinges and doorknobs. None of the areas were sanded down, prepped then painted, they just painted over the ruff walls, trim, base boards, kitchen, baths and closets cabinets. The laminate wood flooring was laid on the base or surface floor that was uneven and now the has cracked boards, loose boards, gaps in between boards. The carpeted rooms have seams showing in the rooms or not sealed down at the edges, one of the rooms has mismatched carpets. The provider installed new windows and the window trims inside are ruff edges, which should have been sanded, filled with something to show a smooth finish before painting. The soffits outside were supposed to be repaired and then painted, but still was not properly prepared before painted. The siding has open spaces around doors and windows. After we told the Hung Nguyen the issues 3 times, the 4th time he told us it was an old house and that's the best he could do. Almost a year later, we have to hire someone else to come and repair what he did and buy all new materials. We had to hire another painter to come in and repaint the interior and exterior of the trim and building in the back yard
