 + -1 moreThe owner looked at it immediately, took the battery out, made some adjustments and brought it back to life - all at no charge. This is a no fuss, owner-operator situation and there is a cat on the premises, but I was very grateful for the prompt and helpful service. I would gladly return in the future.
Description of Work: My laptop completely shut down and I took it in, expecting to leave it for repair.

Description of Work: My dell desktop computer was crashing so I took it to Shoeless. If you're in the market for a rushed/fast fix I don't think this is the provider for you. He takes his time and doesn't rush to the most expensive repair option or jump to conclusions about what is going on with the system. I think his work is very thorough and very fairly priced. I ended up needing a new video card. He also told me to come back if that wasn't the fix and he'd move to the next option. I was very, very satisfied. He is very knowledgeable.

 + -1 moreHe informed me every step of the way, informing me of price (not estimate) . I would describe the owner as a professional, with a great work ethic; takes pride in his work, and doesn't just rush for the more expensive obvious fix first. I believe he has computers for sale as well. This is not my first experience with Shoeless Computers, and his previous work was also good quality. I do not know how many people work there, I've only spoken to the man I presume is the owner. I did have to leave the laptop for a week, but that was fine. Website has hours and rates posted. Shoeless has been around since 1999. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Getting up from the couch, my Toshiba Laptop slipped out of my hands before I could set it on the floor; windows stopped responding, could not get to the system restore, trying to wipe the drive myself did not work. I took the computer in to Shoeless, and he tried a variety of things, finally had to replace the hard drive and re-install windows.

Description of Work: Have a 10 yo labtop that quit working. He gave estimate and I went ahead and had the hard drive replaced. Computer works like brand new now. He has even answered questions I have had even after working on it. I would recommend him.
