The installer did not know what he was doing. He damaged our floor during the installation attempt. He did not know how to properly hook up the dishwasher hoses, and did not know how to run it even though Sears states that the installer will show the homeowner how to operate their new appliance. After 2 1/2 hours of trying to hook up the machine, he stated he couldn't install the machine. We had to open up the installation instructions to tell him how to do it. He did not know how to hook it up under a quartz countertop, stating "it can't be done....I'll have to drill into the side of the dishwasher to attach it to your cupboards". We asked him to leave our home at that point as it was apparent he didn't know what he was doing. Sears "customer service" would do nothing about this and we finally had to return the dishwasher and buy somewhere else (where we received excellent professional installation in 45 minutes!) Our floor is still damaged and the customer service manager did not care. Sears used to be known for installation quality, but since contracting it out have slipped.
Description of Work: Purchased a new dishwasher along with installation from this Sears store.

I was pleased that they didn't take advantage of the situation. I was thrilled that I only paid what I did, though I think their labor cost was a little high. I am not familiar with what that all entails. They were on time when they came to work on the situation and professional in every way. I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I had a family of rodents who moved in and chewed up the wiring harness to my air conditioning unit which shorted out several parts. They came and cleaned out the area and inspected the damage. It turned out to be a $9 part and all the wire they had to replace plus labor.
