Description of Work: Installed water heater I supplied and installed new washer faucets. Did a good job, but labor was extremely expensive. I cannot afford such expensive labor.

Description of Work: Fix a lot of electrical things. It went well. The gentleman could have milked the job and taken his time but he didn't. He was on time, completed his tasks and was out. He answered all of our questions. Very good experience. We have already booked them for another job.

Description of Work: Replaced shower control unit (unit supplied by customer). Installed water shut-offs. Simplified connection and removed old plumbing.

Description of Work: They insulated family room ceiling, installed door in back of garage and scraped and painted block wall in basement.

Description of Work: They installed a ground wire outlet for my washer. Good job but the price seemed pretty high for what had to be done.

Description of Work: When my wife called to see if she could get an estimate for repairing tile around the bathtub she was told there would be a $75/hour charge just for coming out to look. After asking several questions and receiving unsatisfactory responses, she ended the call. But as she was hanging up she heard the person she'd been speaking with turn to others in the room and tell them what a stupid person he'd been talking to. We're not so stupid that we'd ever recommend this business to anyone, even strangers. Our friends and family are already warned.

Description of Work: I called them and the lady said they do not give out estimates. She also said they've been doing the work for such a long time that they know what the cost is going to be. I told her without the estimate, if there would be a discrepancy in services to be provided, how would you resolve the matter. Needless to say, I did not hire them. Also, they were going to charge approximately $500.00 and I still had to buy brackets and other supplies needed. I thought it was a bit much.

Description of Work: I needed a rail put up by the front steps (entrance)to the house. I had a very good experience with Gary. He listened to my preferences - answered my questions and was interested in doing the railing to my satisfaction. He did a very good job. I received compliments from family and friends.

Description of Work: Replaced old ceiling fan,with new. Replaced old exterior porch light with new. Replaced piece of siding on exterior of home.

Description of Work: gave me estimate on other work I wanted done and then he replaced 6 hangers broken this winter on my eave trough.

Description of Work: Power washed the house and painted the porch and decorative fencing. They did an excellent job on both. There was, however, some discrepancy on the billing - the actual hours worked were triple what they had initially quoted. I contacted the owner who quickly resolved the issue to my satisfaction. This is my first time hiring a handyman service and I would love to have them do some more work around my house, however, the hourly rate seems too high to me. As a result, I would hire them again, but only for jobs I absolutely cannot do myself.

Description of Work: They give phone estimates so they wanted me to pick a small job for them to come out and fix. Then they would do estimate on site for larger job. At this time I did not want additional jobs done so was not comfortable with that approach.
