He brought a ladder and we have 2-story eaves. He was quite efficient. It took about 2 hours.

They were very quick and efficient. They were friendly and I would have them again.

Bill arrived on time. He listened to what I wanted, clarified to ensure he fully understood, and went right to work, completing priority projects first, just as I requested. He worked fast and efficiently. He not only took care of the projects I needed done, but if something was right there and would only take a minute to do, he did it. An example of that was he was on my roof checking my winter heat lines to avoid ice build up. A piece of my aluminium soffit was loose. He secured it and it only took him about 30 seconds. He also noticed my eaves needed cleaning and asked if I wanted him to give them a quick clean out while he was up there. I agreed and it only took him a very small amount of time. He was very pleasant, professional, and even allowed my dog to sniff him and approve of him so she did not have to stay locked up the entire time he was there. My projects were too many to complete in one day so before he left he called and set up the future appointment so the projects can be completed. I am very pleased with the quality and quantity of work completed. They are a little expensive, but worth it.

I called on a Thursday, I believe, and had the job scheduled for the following Wednesday. I liked that there is always someone to answer the phone, take your information, and have someone give you a call. The owner, David, gave me a call back and I set up the appointment. He explained the business model and fees, and was pleasant enough. He told me my jobs sounded like 1-2 hours of work. I loved that they were willing to come in at 7:30 am, because working full time 8-5 makes it really difficult to be home for these things. Also, I asked about the "coupon" on Angie's List that claims I can get 50% off the service fee as a new customer, and believe I was told that would be applied. On Wednesday, the guy showed up promptly on time and worked very quickly. The job took one hour to complete. I had left for work by this time so he called and left a message that the job was complete. So far so good, right? Well, when I got home that evening, at first glance everything looked good, but there were a couple things that I found questionable: I opened & closed my utility closet doors 3-4 times, gently. The right one fell off the track at the top and wouldn't stay in after putting it back. This door did give me problems periodically, but had been working just fine for 5 months. On the invoice, they didn't give me any discount on the service fee. The next day, I called the number and spoke to Bill, who answered the phone, about these things. I was really hoping that they might come back out and fix the door properly. The response was: The service had told him that I really need a new door, because the hole in the bottom of the door that the pin fits into has been hollowed out and doesn't fit properly. I said all right, that I understood, but I did find it very odd that the service guy didn't say anything of that nature. After all, I paid someone to come into my home with the understanding that this problem would be fixed, don't you think he would have mentioned that it couldn't be fixed? Bill replied that I had left before the job was completed. Yes, that's true, I had to go to work, however he was already finished looking at the closet doors before I left. He had only spent less than 10 minutes on them, and didn't say a word about a problem. So, no luck, they wouldn't fix it, so my son & I had to spend about 10 minutes adjusting the bottom of the door so that at least it stays on track and opens & closes now. I just wish I hadn't asked for this job at all. They didn't end up doing anything I couldn't have done. The discount only applies to jobs of 2 hours or longer. Later that I spoke with David about this, since he was the one who had originally told me that I could receive the discount. Both David & Bill seemed incredulous that they would have not have mentioned this stipulation to me, but guess what? They didn't. This discount was actually one of the deciding factors in choosing to make an appointment. Maybe there is some small chance that I misunderstood, but how could I have? I listened carefully to every word of our original conversation and still, 8 days later, remember much of it verbatim. I should say that David did agree to give me the discount, after all, which was nice. I just mailed my payment today, so we'll see how that goes. I will be back for updates. Overall, I would call my experience average, so next time I need something around the house I will call around again. I'm definitely hoping to find a company that I can call above average. I would not be opposed to calling Mr. Handyman again someday if I don't find anyone better.

It became much more when the old bathroom faucet could not be removed due to corrosion (it was the original faucet that my mother had installed 20 years ago). The repairman had called for assistance due to the width of his shoulders (the entrance under the bathroom sink was very narrow) and the other gentleman showed up very quickly. It was a good thing because it took two of them over an hour and half just to get the old sink out of the cabinet. Once that was done the rest went very smoothly. Both men were very professional, very polite and very knowledgeable. There was some delay for the kitchen faucet due to incorrect parts but while I went to exchange the faucet, he worked on other projects. All in all it was a great experience, great company and I will definitely use them again for anything my mother or I need done. The original repair man (wide shoulders) had brought extra parts for the toilet and had planned ahead for anything which might have been needed and as a result the toilet is finally fixed properly.

They wanted me to pay upfront and then they would come back in May to do the work. He wouldn't even come out without me paying upfront. My realtor even called him and had him call me. I won't call him again because I won't give my money to anyone without them coming out to do the work. He didn?t do anything for me and I have no use for him.

He cleaned up well when finished and offered to donate the unwanted leftovers to Habitat for Humanity. All work was completed in less than 5 hours.

I have been very happy with them and I was pleased with the price. They are very professional, they come when they say they are going to, they call when they are going to be late, they are prompt, and they are knowledgeable. They have been able to fix everything that we have called them for and I highly recommend them.
