Description of Work: Sprayed closed cell foam in cathedral ceiling and exterior walls (1 1/2"), then filled walls with Nu-Wool spray-on cellulose.

+ -1 moreThey were mediocre. I had to constantly come back and tell them where they were not giving me the depth of insulation that I paid for. I got to keep proving to them that it was not thick enough and then I paid for it to be thick enough. Therefore, they came back couple of times and it was almost like I was inconveniencing them even though I already had paid for it.

+ 1 moreWe had many questions, and received varied estimates with a range from $1200 to $3500. Michiana insulation actually had the most reasonable price AND they were the most responsive to my questions and requests for returns to check various aspects of the job that would modify the original estimates. They appeared at the appointed time, and did the job properly... they did not bridle at my oversight, and accommodated my ongoing concerns.
Description of Work: Adding insulation to the attic of the house to increase the R-value from 30 to 60. This includes putting insulation where the builders had missed entirely (some of the soffets under the eaves, and the ceiling of the great room). We had several discussions about the b est type of insulation to use, where in the attic it had to be used, how to be sure that ALL regions of the attic were lncluded, and practical measures to ensure I was getting maximum impact for my dollars.

+ -1 moreIt took me 2 different calls to even get anyone to call me back. When the guy called me back I missed his phone call but he did leave a professional voicemail. I called him back later that day and left a voicemail since he didn't answer. It took another day for him to respond back to my voicemail, which again I missed his phone call and he left another voicemail in responce to the voicemail I left him. I left him another voicemail which he still hasn't responded too. He didn't see very flexible and wanting this possible job. Both my wife and I work 12hr days so we don't get home till late and in his voicemails he didn't seem to want to work with my schedule. They are very slow in responding and I feel like if I never called back he would have never returned my first phone call. This to me says they aren't very interesting in getting your work and un-professional.
