Mark Temple Tree Service

After the storm at the end of May we had a tree which was leaning toward our house. We called Mark and explained the situation to him and he came out, gave us an accurate estimate, and had his crew out within days. His crew were polite, professional, and pleasant. The job was done in a professional manner and clean-up was complete.

Did not show as expected, went with another company.

We had just had a bad storm with many trees down all over the area, but when I called Mark he was able to come in a timely manner to give me an estimate on the work. He informed me of what I would need to do (call utility locators) before he could proceed. Because of the number of trees that had fallen on houses we had to wait about a week for the crew to come to us since we had no damage to our house. We also had to wait for a permit from the city When the crew arrived they went about the job in a very professional and efficient manner. They even tried to save a Blue Jay nest from a hollow inside the tree. They completed the job in about an hour and a half. Did a good job a of cleaning up all the debris too.

Did a good job at a very reasonable price.

Went well. Came when he said he would. I have recommended him to other people

Mark Temple Tree Service he is good. I'm not sure if they are brothers or a father and son, but they are good. He is great. We had a good experience with them. They did the work as the contract said, they did good clean up, they were good. They did the work Janaury 30th. We had to wait on some good weather and we were having a mild winter and then we had the snow. They came back the next day and finished up. They charged $2198. These were big maple trees.

They were prompt and efficient.

Their service went very well. I think he did a very good job. I didn't have any problems with them at all. I thought he was very good. His people were very friendly. Their pricing was a little higher than some of the others but then he is bonded and all that kind of stuff which makes a big difference.

Mark told me what I needed to do so that he could get his equipment into the yard - he communicated very well. He also arranged to have the utilities marked - good idea since one of the tree's roots were tangled in utilitie lines underground. He took down the trees in two days (8 loads of debris) - ground the stumps. He protected the neighbor's lawn and the windows of the house.

Mark Temple did a nice job explaining which trees should be eliminated and which should be saved. He obviously takes an interest in keeping a healthy wooded area. My only concern after our first meeting was communication. Because my job was relatively small, he said he would fit me in when crews were working in my area. I was away from the house when the work was done. A couple of small issues persisted, which were resolved completely. It just took a bit longer than I expected for the crews to return.

All was completed well and efficiently. I stated above that I would use them again and I probably will. However if you are interested in using their services, ensure that you know the terms of payment before the work is done. Yes, they do accept credit cards, but they also charge a more than significant service charge. I had an upcharge of 6% beyond the agreed upon cost!! No merchant should incur a credit card service charge larger that 2.5%. A 6% upcharge is beyond astounding to me. I will always ensure that I understand and have in writing credit card upcharges on future estimates from Mark and the others I get quotes from.

Came same day that i called to give me a quote. They removed the trees on schedule. They are very professional. and very nice.

Mark is extremely conscious and punctual. He is a very knowledgable professional in every way. He and his expert crew showed up when he said they would and they very efficiently went about the the tree work that was agreed to in the quotation, including the clean-up. They performed their work quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. We were very satisfied with the work and the price.

Mark responded to our call, came for an estimate and did the work on the scheduled day. They placed planks on the lawn to prevent damage. They were pleasant and professional and completed the work in less than 1 day. We felt that we received a large amount of service for the price. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely use them again.

Mark came out on the 14th of October and gave us an estimate to cut down a large tree and grind out the stump. We agreed they could leave the debris for us to clean up as it was a savings to us. They were very busy with other jobs but said he wouldn't make us wait too long. He called on the 27th of October and said they could do it then. His employees came and completed the job within a few hours since there was no clean up involved. We were happy with their work and would recommend them.

I got a coupon from Angie's list. The coupon was that if I spend over $800, then I get a root grinding or stump grinding. They did a good job. They gave us a senior discount because it was for my dad's property. They did what they came out to do, and they did it in a timely manner. I have no complaints. The price was competitive.

Contacted Mark after seeing his company on Angies List and he responded quickly. I set up a date for an estimate and he showed up on time. The estimate seemed fair and a date was scheduled. The first date didn't happen because of a very bad storm that went through the Michiana area and he had a lot of storm damage to fix. We selected another date and the morning of this date, I received a voicemail advising that due to weather, we had to postpone again. I was a little surprised by this as the rain stopped by 9:00 AM and was really only a drizzle if that. I finally called him to re-schedule again and we agreed on a date of August 4th. He and his crew showed up exactly on time, if not a bit early, and started their work. The small and medium trees came down with no problem. The large dead oak had to come down with a bucket truck because it was too dangerous to climb a dead tree. The tree came down with no problem but they ended up leaving a portion of the tree that was higher than the roof of the garage. When I first spoke to Mark I had stated that a tree stump could remain but I was not told that the tree stump would be 20 feet high. His crew advised that they would take down the tree as low as the bucket would take them. I didn't understand why that was the case... so I suppose, "shame on me" for not asking Mark why when he was there. All in all, the whole experience was a good one. I suppose I gave more B's than A's due the delay of the work the second time, the fact that the dead oak that was left was 20 feet high when I thought it would be much closer to the ground, responsiveness again to the postponing of the work the second time. The quality of the work was good. I would definitely use them again!!!

Excellent! They provided same day service and swooped in like a swat team to get the job done in under an hour. This included tree removal, stump grind down and clean-up. Their chipper operation is an experience to behold. A fine company and highly recommended!

This was a big job. He had to drive truck all over my lawn. He took down my fence and put it back up. Filled all tire marks. Coered all the stumps that were ground up. Cleaned up the yard. Trimmed up my other trees. Very knowledgeable about trees and how each different type should be trimmed.

Mark was very punctual in returning my call. He arrived on site to do a pre-job assessment of the work, taking into account my concerns and then scheduled the work even co-ordinated it so as not to disturb the neighbors. The work crew did an excellent job not only with the work, but the clean up as well. Overall, a very professional job.

He cut down a couple trees along the riverbank and thinned another one. He did great work. I hired him a second time to cut down a tree near the house. I asked him to grind the stump, too. He did both and was great at cleaning up afterwards. Yes, I would hire him again.

I called Temple Tree on a Tues. for an estimate. Mark was out for estimate on Wed. and did the job that Friday. They came when they said they would. It took them only 3 1/2 hrs. to cut down and remove 2 large trees, prune 2 trees, bring in black dirt to cover eroding of yard due to one of the trees we had removed, and put down grass seed on top of the black dirt. They also removed all wood and bark and cleaned up the yard well. The cost was around $1,500. Very pleased with them and would use again.
