+ -1 moreCalled them early and they came out that day. They checked out the well house and discovered that our well tank wasn't working properly. He walked me through all the parts of our well house and told me what i needed to fix our problem. Only paid for the service charge, no hourly fee.
Description of Work: Water stopped working two nights in a row, they checked out the well and told us what was wrong.

+ -1 moreI called them on a Friday night when I found I had no running water. He gave me instructions on what to check and I explained I could not do it as it required getting into the well pit. I called my brother-in-law and he did the test then I called Mansfield back. This was all after hours on a Friday night. They arrived about 11 on Saturday and by 1 I had a new pump installed as well as all the electrical switches tested and a possibly faulty one replaced.
Description of Work: Troubleshoot why I had no water coming into the house or the outside spigots.

Description of Work: Did not have any water pressure. They replaced the well pump and water tank. The water kept running back into the well. They dug up the pipeline and found leaks at three elbows. They said that the old pump, a 1 HP motor was still good and they would put it back on the well. I said no, just leave the new 1/2 HP motor on the well because the old motor was 26 years old and would have to be replaced soon. They could have replaced the old 1 HP pump with a new 1 HP pump and charged me more, but they said that all I needed was a 1/2 HP pump to do the same job. They didn't know why the previous well installer put 3 elbows in the water line so they corrected it with one straight line so no more cracks could occur at the elbow. This is a father and 2 sons business that are very honest and knowledgeable of there trade.

+ -1 moreThey answered the telephone immediately. No grunts into the phone telling your they were too busy to speak now but they would call you back. They were polite professional and personable. They came the next day and aerated the well. Within a few hours all was A OK. They went beyond the call of duty by checking a few extra incidental issues for which there was no extra charge. A family business consisting of father and two sons. Good people. Good work. Fair price. All you can expect.
Description of Work: Well was clogged with sand and barely pumped any water to the house. Other well service providers were consulted. Widely varied opinions were a result. The possible quoted prices were all over the map.
