Bruce was rude from the start but seemed knowledgeable so we chalked it up to a personality issue and figured the project wasnt extensive and we'd only have to deal with him for a very short time. (We are doing extensive remodeling and deal with lots of personalities along the way...) He quoted $557 to move some wiring over our kitchen island to go from recessed lights to pendant lights, repair of 2 exterior outlets that were not working, and to replace 2 exterior patio sconces. He said he would start immediately so our project would be completed before company arrived for the holiday. (This is why we went with him.) Bruce failed to show up on several days that we agreed upon causing us to miss time from work unnecessarily. When he did show, he would not complete a project before leaving for another client's project. Once he completed the indoor portion of the project, he required full payment to complete the rest. We had a discussion at that time as to the expectations we had if we were to pay in full. We paid by check on December 17, 2015. To date (3/22/16) he has not completed the project and what he has completed is not working as expected. He would not answer phone calls from us. Today I was able to get Bruce on the phone by calling from another phone number. He was rude, defensive and very argumentative. He wants more money to come out and finish the project. I explained he has been paid and it has been over 3 months. I explained I would hate to have to leave him a poor review and report him to the BBB. I explained some of the work he has completed is not working correctly. To this he replied, "a chimpanzee can install light fixtures, do it yourself!" He then went on to give multiple excuses as to why he has not been in touch with us, none of which explained why a phone call and follow up could not be made. Bruce will not give you a written contract. Beware! Fortunately we saved his voicemail from back in December in which he described the scope of work in detail and the cost. We have filed with the BBB. Please do not use this electrician and please warn your friends and family not to use him as well.

Bruce has completed each of our remodelling projects to our satisfaction.

It was fantastic work and everything was done just as he said he would do it. No corners cut here, just great work.

I had an appt on Tuesday, for which I needed to take off work. After arriving 15 minutes late, I was informed that he only had time to see what needed to be done, as he had another customer who had an emergency. I was really upset that he wasted my time and couldn't do my work. A phone call earlier would have been helpful so I could rearrange my day. Repair man was brusque and seemed annoyed that I had things I wanted repaired. The next day, I had to take off work again, he arrived 10 minutes late. Again, he was short and seemed annoyed as I asked him about potential repairs. My aim was to give him more work and he said he didn't have time to help me. I asked him if our project was too small or not a fit for his business because he seemed annoyed. He replied no. Later in the appointment he apologized if he seemed rude, he was just tired. He was rude on my initial phone call, the first visit and the second visit. In 1 hour, he changed 1 GFI outlet and 2 light switches. Charged $50 for parts, with no explanation of how it could possibly be that big (even when I seem stunned at the price). I won't use again due to rude attitude and high parts prices.

He was able to correct some homeowners mistakes from previous people. He was very good and professional. I felt confident with him.
