+ -1 moreWe did not have a good experience with Lawn Medic. We received a mailer that outlined a lawn treatment plan of 6 applications. We have only just learned (after prepaying) that the applications only include one application of fertilizer (along with weed and insect control ongoing to get to the total of “6” applications). I found them to be highly deceptive in their promotional materials and are quite disappointed in both how our lawn looks and the owners response to our query and request for refund.

+ -1 moreStill considerable weeds after 2 years of treatments. Did no pay in advance as previously, but owner assumed he still had my business and came and treated my yard anyways. Now he is trying to collect on his unrequested and unwanted “service”. After I told him I didnt want service anymore he called and harassed my wife. Stay clear of this idiot.

+ -1 moreLawn care service is alright. Nothing spectacular to make it shine. The problem is that they put the notes on your door before they fertilize, instead of after. This means they aren't inspecting the lawn for problems, which is half the job in my estimation. Drop the note, drop the fertilizer and go. Spoke with service reps and office personnel in order to solve problems on lawn and get them to address looking at the lawn, but the company didn't listen. Stuck with them for probably ten years, but no improvements. Two different homes, two different drivers, same problem.

Description of Work: Can't believe the improvement in our lawn after just one year with Lawn Medic. All the dandelions are gone and our lawn has gone from mostly weeds to lush and green. Well worth the price.

Description of Work: We have used Lawn Medic for several years. On two separate occasions they killed some of our flowers. On one occasion they did send us the money to replace the flowers. This of course did not take care of all the work involved. The owner laughed and said that this showed his operator was just too consentience. The problem is that the operator rides a motorized spreader everywhere and never spreads weed killers by hand (or push spreader) to limit area being treated. The correction,on their part, was just not to cover the lawn that is near flowers. I even suggested that they leave a small amount of material so I could hand spread thoes areas close to flowers. They refused. Problem #2 deals with the charges. They quoted one fee then they add charges for delivery or trip charge. This was about a 20.00 upcharge. Our total charge was 64.31. Of course they offer all sorts of different services all of which I believe are high priced. Our property is approx. 100x175 plus a 20 ft easement. They quoted 112.00 for grub treatment. I bought grub killer for this amount of lawn (retail) for 30.00 .Problem #3 I repeatedly requested to be called ahead of the application so I could either cancel it or have the opportunity to prepare the lawn for the application. They did not always call ahead and when they did would not change the schedule so it was of no benefit to me. For these reasons I plan to try a new service this year.

+ -1 moreThe guy who does my lawn care is very knowledgeable. When he looks at the lawn, he could name all the different weeds that I have, the problems and which things would work against it. He is very honest as what they could accomplished. The service was immediate. He takes care and cleans up everything. He is very courteous and professional. Overall, the service is excellent.
Description of Work: I use Lawn Medic services for insecticide, weed control and fertilization for my lawn.

+ -1 moreI used them a couple of years ago but I haven't used them since because things started getting too expensive and now I do it myself. They were reasonable. They did good work and were here on schedule. The price was decent, it just got to where I couldn't afford it anymore. I was very pleased with their work. Responsiveness and punctuality was the only place I would give them a lower grade. I had a couple of times where they wouldn't return my calls and the last year that I had them I was having a problem and they didn't get back with me. I used them for 5 years and they are really hard to communicate with. When they did return my call it felt it was out of line in the time frame of returning a call.
