Had 2 large pine trees in my front yard , Kevin and his crew came in and had both down and cut up and hauled away and had the yard cleaned up with in 2 days , would recommend this company to anyone, thanks

Don't waste your time calling the main number for Kevin's Tree & Landscaping because it's just an answering service that either doesn't actually deliver messages or the messages are ignored. Instead, you can try calling Kevin on his personal cell phone which is 574-876-3891. Unfortunately, even that might not work. As others have shared in their reviews, Kevin's has proven to be extremely unprofessional. After a scheduling mix-up for our initial appointment to discuss landscaping services, Kevin came to our home the following day (Wednesday). We had a great conversation and he promised to get back to us with a quote on Friday. Now one week later, I still have not heard from Kevin and have not received any replies to my text messages, phone calls, or Facebook messages. Don't waste your time or energy with them - go to someone who really wants your business and will be more responsive - Smalls Garden Center, Ginger Valley, McKinley Garden Center, or others that have good ratings here on Google. I hope Kevin proves my review wrong...but something tells me he won't.

Crew arrived early and worked non stop until job was complete late afternoon. The yard was spotless upon removal of the sections of the tree trunks.

The crew was working up the street the first of the week (Monday), so my wife called and we got a return call later the same day then a visit with a walk around to view the stumps and an estimate of $310.00 with 1 1/2 cubic yards of topsoil. Weather permitting, they would be here Wednesday or Thursday. It poured rain all day Tuesday, but Wednesday afternoon they dropped off the stump grinder and said they would be back in the morning to do the work. They were hereabout 8:30 a.m. and finished most of the work, then came back early in the afternoon to put a little more topsoil on the large stump area out front, then they loaded up the stump removing machine and left.

Came out for estimate & told me he could do the service for $185. I think he came out on a Monday or Tues. & told me he could fit me in this week on Wed. or Thurs. I told him on the spot I wanted the work done & that Thurs. would be the best day for me. Asked him what time could he come on Thurs. & he said "Well think about it and call me tonight or tomorrow ". He didnt want to commit to anything. He also said he would not be working on Friday & then would be off for 2 weeks after that. I called that same night to once again tell him I wanted him to do the work, & got a voicemail that was full. Called again the next morning & once again got a voicemail that was full so you couldnt leave a message. Finally later that day got thru on the voicemail & left a message saying I wanted the work done on Thurs. as he suggested to please call me back & let me know if they would be coming that day. Later that day I called again & got an answering service person & also once again left a message with her that I wanted him to come out on Thurs to do the work. Never got a call back & never heard from them again. I thought maybe they would call me back to do the work after the 2 weeks off. Never heard from them!

Excellent work ethic. Crew was diligent and hardworking barely slowed down the entire day. The owner works alongside the crew. Took lots of precaution to do minimal damage to lawn.they are very busy so previous reviews may have portrayed them in a bad light.they are worth waiting for in price and expertise.our trees were quite large and they never waivered.i would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

The process of removing our sick tree went well in all aspects. We definitely plan on calling upon Kevin in the future. He seems to be well educated as to what needs to be done and then does it in a professional, confident manner. We had other estimates and opinions as to what needed to be done to our sick tree. We decided on Kevin based on a good friend's recommendation as well as our meeting with Kevin prior to removal. I do think this Tree Service is very busy. It appears to help reaching them if you have used them before or if you can use the name of someone who has used the service with true satisfaction.

Everything was just as discussed and executed to plan. Couldn't be more happy with the turnout. Very professional!

Contacted the provider and was told they would call me with a date to come give an estimate for lawn work. I finally got a call a week later with a date they could come out. I took off work early to meet someone who never showed up or even called to say they weren't coming. Very unprofessional!

My friend was supposed to hire them but they never showed up. They were supposed to come and cut down a tree. They just never showed up, never called back, just never heard from them. I would say beware, and other people have had problems with them, including my friend.

We hired this company to trim our trees, treat and prune the roots of several large trees and prune our flower beds. They gave us a free estimate and a date to return and perform the agreed upon services. First of all they did not show up on the date they said they would. They came the next day and did the work when we were not home. When we arrived home we were surprised at the inferior quality of the work they performed. They did not prune the roots of the trees which they said needed to be done. The trees they trimmed looked as though they rushed to finish the job and we were very unhappy with the way the trees looked. They did almost nothing to the flower beds. In fact, we had to hire someone else to do the flower beds. We called Kevin and he said he came out to check the work his men did, apparently when we were not at home again. He claimed they did the roots but it was obvious to us that absolutely nothing had been done to the roots and the flower beds were virtually untouched. We called their office over and over and over and only got a voice message. They would not return our calls. After a few weeks we decided to just put a check in the mail and be done with this company. We called their office one last time and once again had to leave a voice message to let them know how unhappy we were with their work and lack of professionalism. They never responded. We put a check in the mail to fulfill our responsibility but we felt cheated and even robbed by this company. We do not recommend this company to anyone and will never use them again.

It went really well. They would empty the area when I brought my dogs out. Everything went fine.

Horrible experience. We had several trees and bushes to trim, some yard waste to haul away, and wanted several yards of topsoil delivered. After the owner came to our home and gave us the cost, he set the work to be done the end of that week. We took time off work to be there for the crew. The day came and no one showed up. No one called. We tried calling several times and only got voicemail. Our messages were never returned. We tried emailing but those were ignored also. We waited a week and had to then hire someone else. This guy never showed up when he promised he would and it was rude, dishonest, and unprofessional of him to not call and say why and not returning our calls and emails.

Kevin's Tree and Landscaping were very professional and punctual. They gave us a great price and provided quality work. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves.

They had done work for me before. They had a reasonable price as compared to other tree companies. They did a good job. My experience with them has always been good. I would use them again in the future.
