Jan sold our house for us. Granted we did get it sold through her, but I do believe it went for much less than it should have due to low attention on her part. We didn't get updated with showings when we were out of town, and communication was very, very poor. Overall, it was just really disorienting to not have good communication with her, and to feel that she just didn't have it on her radar (she seems to manage a large number of listings, and our house was on the lower end in terms of price and therefore commission) . We finally did get a buyer, and we were actually the ones doing the hard bargaining, not her (something she claimed she was very good at)--had we taken her advice we would have sold for even less. I inquired multiple times about a closing date and she didn't get back to me, then out of the blue the title company called and said that they didn't know we weren't going to be at the closing and it was TODAY. We had to rush to get papers signed and notarized, and it was an enormous frustration but wasn't that surprising given the overall of the experience. She has a very persuasive personality, but I just don't feel that she gave us the attention that she should have. I can't at all recommend her.
