Collier's Glassblock Windows

Mike made two trips to my house. The first was to take measurements for the windows that I had asked to be replaced with glass block, and the second trip was to perform the install after he built the glass block windows offsite. On the second trip he had an assistant employee help with the existing window removal and placement of the new glass block windows. Both men were friendly and professional, and completed the job in a timely manner. The new glass block windows are a huge improvement over the existing and likely original windows to the home, which was built in the early 1950s. I feel the space is more secure and also provides better insulation. The cost for your typical basement rectangular window was @ $325, and for a larger window it was # $375.

Absolutely perfect experience. These men are skilled craftsmen.

never contacted after numerous tries

The two gentlemen who gave me the estimate arrived on time. They went about making their measurements and promptly presented me with a proposal and cost estimate. I thought it was a fair estimate and committed to the job. They told me it would be about two weeks before they could get to my job. Eight days later they contacted me with a proposed date, which worked for us. The two gentlemen who did the work arrived just a few minutes earlier than scheduled. They began work promptly and worked steadily and efficiently on what became a very sunny, very humid, 90 degree day. They cheerfully answered my occasional questions. Working outside and inside, they completed a very professional job in less than six hours. They removed all the waste and debris. They left the work site, both outside and inside, clean and clear. So, ten days from getting the estimate, the job was completed, and we are very pleased. The attached photos show [before] the 70-year-old casements and [after] the new glass block windows awaiting my touchup trim-painting when the mortar dries next week.

It seems that Collier's Glass Block Windows is the only game in town when it comes to glass block windows, so you might think they'd provide lackluster service. I found that definitely not to be the case. Mr. Collier showed up on time, analyzed the project, asked a few questions, drew up a proposal, I signed it, and he left. Few days later the installers came back with the assembled window to install it and it didn't fit. No worries, they took it back and a couple of days later they came back with another window which they installed. It was exactly what I wanted. Took two tries but I wouldn't change a thing.

FABUOUS, FABULOUS, FABULOUS!!! The crew was so wonderful, and the price so reasonable, that I have set up an appt. w. Casey Collier to price out replacing all 24 windows in our 1929 home.

They were fast and friendly. They were cost-effective. I would use them again in the future if needed.
