They were very expensive promising warranties that were not honored.
Description of Work: Very unhappy with any after sale repair. Difficult to get any satisfaction after the fact.

The salesman who came to show us the product spent an excessive amount of time showing us a jar of "virgin material" vinyl compared to the competitor's recycled vinyl. I also felt like too much time was spent telling me how bad the windows are that the competitor's have, and horror stories he has from customers who had bought a competitor's window. I would have preferred to hear more about what made his window the best fit for us. That is disappointing because he really did have a nice product. There was a lot of back and forth about the price for a few days before we settled on one. He played the normal games of "I don't know if I can do that. I will have to check with my supervisor" and "I'm already giving you a great price, I'm losing money on this." to be fair, these are fairly standard and universal to nearly all salesmen. The installation guy (Scott) came out to measure within 3 days of us signing the contract for the windows, which we thought was a good sign. Then the wait began. We were told, again by our salesman, that the wait is 6-8 weeks, but most of the time is actually less. once my wife and I had waited 7 weeks, we called them and were told that we were scheduled for installation, and what date we were scheduled. The only problem was that this date was a full 2 weeks past the 8 week mark. My wife pointed this out to the person on the phone and we were told that "the weather has not been cooperating so we are behind." The weather has been one of the nicest fall seasons we've had in years, so I don't know about that. Regardless, the installation did take place on the scheduled date. I cannot say enough good things about Scott, and how professional he was with the installation. Scott and one other installer came on the scheduled date, and showed up at the scheduled time to install the windows. Each old window was removed and replaced immediately to keep there from being a huge gaping hole letting out heat (as it was quite cold). He also spent a good amount of time ensuring that the windows were square, and sealed up well. The aluminum trim on the outside looks great, and he fulfilled a request I had to wrap the trim into the siding we have. It took two visits on consecutive days to complete the install, which was right on schedule, and the windows look great. The only problem we ran into, and this was not Scott's fault, was that we had ordered full screens, and the windows arrived with locking half screens. Which brings me to the follow-up... Scott notified Bee that our order was wrong, and I got a call from our salesman who said he thought he remembered us ordering the half screens, when we had told him from the beginning that full screens were important to us. He asked if we had it in the contract, and we told him that there is nothing regarding the screens, either half or full, in the contract, but that we had an e-mail from him saying he would include the full screens at no extra cost. We were told that he needed to see the contract. He actually tried to blame Scott, saying that Scott should have noted we wanted full screens when he came to do his measurements. It is not the installer's job to place the order, it is the salesman's, and it was with our salesman that we sat and signed the contract. That felt kind of "pass-the-buck" like to me. After what I felt like was too much back and forth and another salesman becoming involved, an order was placed for the screens. But still, I have had to follow up with my salesman. He has never called me to update me. We still do not have our screens in yet, but should soon, if I am to believe what I am being told by my salesman. To sum it up, I am satisfied with the product, the installer, and the company as a whole. My primary complaint lies with a lack of responsiveness from our salesman.
Description of Work: A Bee Window salesman came out to our house while we were still deciding what company to go with for our replacement windows. Once we had decided to go with Bee Window, someone came out and measured. Once the windows came in, they were installed.
