+ -1 moreHe was here on time all the time, and when he was going to be late he would call. Very prompt. I called him once to have him go over some questionable areas and he came right out. Very good work. I am very happy with him. He is very clean, neat, and tidy.

+ -1 moreDave was very thorough and professional. The repairs are excellent and completely smooth. He was careful to drape the furniture and clean up after himself. I would call Dave again for any future drywall repairs.
Description of Work: Dave came out to look at the cracks I had in my drywall and to give me an estimate. He began the work almost immediately and finished in 3 days (as planned). He repaired all cracks we spoke of and more that we found later. He also resurfaced the ceiling where necessary.

+ -1 moreAfter some long debate I decided that I would be unable to drywall my entire basement by myself, so I hired Dave to do it for me. I already had all of the materials, and he was fine with that. It took him one day to hang all of the drywall, and 2 more days to complete the mudding and sanding. I couldn't be any happier with the results. Some things are best to be left with a professional, and Dave is certainly one of them.
Description of Work: Dave performed the drywall work for my basement remodel.

After hearing my concerns he offered to give me advice over the phone on how to remedy the problem on my own, and when I still had concerns he came to my home and looked at the job and after seeing it was A simple fix he still gave me advice on how to fix it myself; All of this free of charge!!!! Dave is unique in today's business world, thanks Dave!

+ -1 moreTHIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE USED DAVE FOR DRYWALL REPAIR. EACH TIME HE HAS DONE A VERY CAREFUL AND EXTREMELY COMPETENT JOB. HE IS NOT ALWAYS EASY TO CONTACT, BUT HE DOES ANSWER PHONE MESSAGES. IT IS WORTH THE SLIGHT INCONVENIENCE IN COMMUNICATION TO GET SUCH A GOOD JOB.
Description of Work: REPAIRED LIVING ROOM CEILING, WHICH HAD BEEN DAMAGED BY A TOILET OVERFLOW ON THE SECOND FLOOR. THE CEILING WAS WATERMARKED AND WAS HANGING DOWN AT THE JOINT. DAVE REMOVED THE TAPE, AND RE-FASTENED THE DRYWALL, THEN RETAPED AND RE-SPACKLED. AFTER IT WAS PRIMED, YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW WE HAD HAD A PROBLEM. AND HE DID IT WITHOUT EVER HAVING TO SAND ANYTHING! PLUS, EVERYTHING WAS ALL CLEAN AFTER HIS WORK.

+ 0 moreDID NOT GET OTHER QUOTES - WAS IN A HURRY AND HAD HEARD HE DID GREAT WORK, SO WENT WITH HIM SINCE HE WAS AVAILABLE (WEEKEND WORK). DAVE IS VERY PERSONABLE, SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, AND WORKED LONG HOURS IN A VERY, VERY HOT ROOM, BLESS HIS HEART.
Description of Work: HE FIXED A 2X2 SECTION IN CEILING, THEN TEXTURED IT JUST LIKE THE OTHER - FLAWLESS WORK. IN ANOTHER ROOM, WE HAD HAD TWO SKYLIGHTS REMOVED, SO HE HAD TO PRY AWAY SOME OF THEIR FRAMES THAT WERE LEFT, PUT IN INSULATION, NEW DRYWALL. WE ALSO HAD SOME WATER DAMAGE EVERY 4 FEET, SO HE RE-TAPED & FIXED ALL THAT. THEN PAINTED THE CEILING. IT WAS A SLANTED, 12-FOOT CEILING, BY THE WAY. DAVE'S WORKMANSHIP WAS GREAT. HE WAS HARD TO REACH, AND FUNNY ABOUT SCHEDULING; FIRST HE WAS TOO BUSY TO COME OUT & ESTIMATE, THEN THE NEXT DAY HE CALLED, SAID HE'D BE OUT THE FOLLOWING DAY TO ESTIMATE & BEGIN THE WORK. HE WORKED SATURDAY, SUNDAY & MONDAY. WHATEVER. IT GOT DONE & WAS DONE WELL!
