Dave's Drywall

Very well, I would use Dave's Drywall again and would recommend him to anyone interested in his services.

Dave was responsive and gave me an approximate price over the phone with a high and low estimate. After the job was completed, I asked Dave the amount due and he told me the lowest price. His work was very clean and professional. I will definitely call him in the future.

I have used this company before. It only took him a couple days. He matched the color and the texture. He was careful of our furniture and used cloths to cover everything. He cleaned up well.

Dave was very efficient, courteous and spent almost 3 hours cutting, sanding, etc. Left job site spotless and patched is so well done that you cannot see where it was. Very prompt and came the day after I called. $300.00 is the minimum. He always charges extra, even after having to go in attic the to remove insulation coming through. Also patched crack on wall at no charge. I would hire him again and give him an A rating.

He did excellent work which required minimal sanding due to his technique, therefore not creating a lot of dust in the house, and areas were thoroughly cleaned up after completion of the work.

Called Dave and he called the next day. He came out and gave an estimate and started work that day. He had to make a total of four trips to complete the repair. It looks wonderful, as good as before it was damaged.

Well, we didn't get that far. I told him that I have 1 room that needs drywall installed, we set a time to meet at my home and he called the day of and he told me that was too much work for him. I am wondering why his company is called "Dave's Drywall". He told me he just does small patch jobs.

Dave is excellent to work with. He was amazing and he did an outstanding job of covering up the holes and making sure the pattern matched the rest of the ceiling. He was very clean in the way he worked and he cleaned up after himself well. I felt very comfortable having him work in my home.

The gentleman came right out after I called and gave us an estimate, and the work was completed the next day. He was a very nice man and did a great job protecting our white carpet and cleaning up after the job was finished.

Dave and his son did an excellent job from start to finish. They were here on time every day. The first day they reviewed what needed to be done with me, and listened to some special requests that we had. They did all the dusty work in the garage before coming in so the house stayed as clean as possible, and they cleaned up everything before they left. Each day after they were on time, did their work professionally and well and cleaned up before they left. The last day was the one expected to be dustiest, and they took great care to keep the house as clean and neat as possible, and they cleaned all the dust up that there was before they left. The drywall looks great and Dave's price was the most reasonable we found. We'd use him again in a second! Thanks Dave.

Dave was always on time. Worked carefully, neatly and always cleaned up after himself.

Drywall repair is very good. The quote said, "3 trips. 3 days x $300. I assumed that 3 days meant at least 6 hours of work each day. I learned at the end of the job that one day of work to him was how long it took him to get his work done. 1st day 4 hrs, 2nd day 3.5 hrs, and 3rd day 2.5 hrs. He also fixed three small holes & painted over water damage on ceilings with a product that does not match! I paid $900 for 10 hours of work including items not on the estimate. When I balked at the quoted amount, he said he normally charged $300 per patch! He reminded me of all the things he had pointed out; that he was punctual and cleaned up after himself. Each day we discussed a car I have for sale. EACH DAY he related the story of the last car he bought for his wife from a woman for whom he did work in exchange for the car. I inadvertently made the check out to his business, and he returned it for me to make to him. I plan to send $500 & dispute the balance. I had a 2nd quote for $300!

Mr. Schweigel's work was meticulous. It is impossible to delineate the areas that were repaired from the surrounding wall. He was courteous and punctual, and returned all phone calls promptly.

Another drywall man did a horrible job repairing it. I contacted Dave's Drywall through Angie's List Publications. He came out 3 times (it had to dry between times) did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. A very pleasant person.

Dave called me back right away and got me on his calendar quite quickly. He was a little late, but was polite and called to let me know. When Dave came he was surprised to see that I had so many nail pops. He mentioned at one point that he hadn't seen any as bad as the one's in my son's room. He seemed to think it would be a big job because they were located all over the house and not just in one area. I ended up going with another company that was actually a little higher priced because their attitude was more that the pops weren't that bad and the job wouldn't be any big a deal. I'm sure Dave would have done a great job, but I went with the company with the more optimistic attitude.

He made the repair, so nicely. He was very professional and clean. He was respectful of my home and did a great job. He is very prompt in returning messages. I would definitely use him again and I have already, recommended him to others.

The job was done beautifully. The ceiling is 21 years old and he was able to match the texturing and the color almost perfectly. A total of three visits were required: One: Repair the hole and do the initial "mudding." Two: Level the repaired area to the level of the existing ceiling. Three: Texture with a brush and drywall knife. It was a top-notch job done neatly and promptly.

This is the third time I have used him. He did a good job, price was reasonable. This was a textured ceiling and he made a good match.

Outstanding. I'd bring him back anytime. He is about the nicest guy you can meet. Very responsive to my call and worked me in very quickly, arrived when promised. Deeply experienced, 40+ years, takes pride in his work. Had deep expertise on drywall. Gave good advice on how to paint it later. Charged me the exact estimate.

Dave did a very nice job. Punctual, cleaned up well, worked with me regarding some repairs which were needed but for which I wasn't quite ready.

We needed a drywall repair from a roof leak. Dave was very conscientious about the job and did great work. I will use him again and recommend him whenever asked about a drywall guy. Thanks for a job well done.
