Wayne was punctual arriving exactly on time. He made helpful suggestions about the install, and did a beautiful/perfect installation. The attention to detail was excellent, and cleanup was immaculate. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the new backsplash. I would recommend Bowden Tile to everyone.

It took awhile to get everything selected for the new design. Wayne started started when he said he would and was flexible as we needed a one week later start than his initial plan. He showed up on time everyday and stayed focused on our job. He takes care to keep the area as clean as possible. He puts down tarps every single day so that he is not walking on the carpets. We appreciated this approach so much as contractors many times act like it is an inconvenience. Wayne doesn't cut any corners. All the fine detail was done meticulously. The materials he uses are of high quality. We had one change order during the process to make our medicine cabinets recessed. It was going to add another day. He is very busy but took this in stride and made the change acknowledging that it was going to make the overall design that much better in the long term. His work is not cheaply priced but you certainly get the value that you pay for in his work.

We are extremely pleased with the work that Wayne completed on our Master Bathroom. He removed an old one piece fiberglass shower and installed a beautiful tile shower including tiling the ceiling of the shower and installing a new shower door. In addition, matching floor tile was installed along with a new vanity top, faucets, mirrors and lights. Wayne was very easy to work, dedicated completely to our job over the 2 weeks that he worked on our project, showed up every morning at the same time and everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. We would highly recommend Wayne.

We could not be happier with the work of Wayne Bowden with Bowden Ceramic Tile. Wayne takes great pride in his craft and his expertise is evident in his workmanship. He is a busy man, but once he confirms your build date, he will be there to focus on your project, working only one job at a time. Wayne is punctual, friendly, will take the time to answer questions and will clean up daily. We can't say enough good things about Wayne (and his helper)- his work ethic, knowledge and abilities are exceptional.

Wayne did an outstanding job rebuilding my shower. In 3 days he completely removed every component of the shower down to the wall studs and replaced with quality cement wallboard, ceramic tile with mosaic accent stripe, new shower pan, new fixtures and new frameless shower doors. I had to wait awhile before he had time in his schedule to start the job, but once he started, he worked each day from early til late and finished it all quickly. He is easy to work with and does a great job. Highly recommended.

Why didn't we do it sooner?! This is a question we keep asking ourselves after seeing the quality of work done by Mr. Bowden. The white subway tile backsplash was the final step of our kitchen updating process (after appliances, lighting, countertops, cabinets, etc.) It really pulled all the changes together to create a cohesive, finished look. We hestitated for awhile since we had heard numerous stories of unprofessional contractors (ex. Not replying to messages, vaping in the house around client's children) doing subpar work (ex. placing many blemished tiles, not fully cleaning up after job.) We researched lots of contractors and selected Wayne Bowden for his superior reviews. After asking a lot of questions, we felt confident he would treat our small project with the care and preciseness we were wanting. Since he is highly sought after, we were not able to get our backsplash done right away. But, he was very up front about his timetable and we did not mind to wait in order to get it done correctly the first time. We are extremely happy with the work done and feel absolutely confident to recommend his work to others.

We hired Bowden Ceramic Tile to completely tear out and rebuild our master bathroom. Wayne Bowden worked as general contractor and the scope of work included moving the shower and wc, ripping out and rebuilding several interior walls, removing the pre-existing floor (carpet) and replacing it with porcelain tile, removing a bathtub, and all kinds of related carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work. The job took approximately 6 weeks. Wayne's work ethic is outstanding. He and his crew came to work promptly each weekday morning and worked steadily until end of day. During the project several problems came up (e.g., existing wall slightly out of plumb and too tight for new vanity due to bowed 2x4) and Wayne solved the problem rather than simply try to work around it. The result is that all new and rebuilt walls and corners are perfectly square and plumb, resulting in the tile also being perfectly aligned and square. In summary, the work done by Bowden Ceramic Tile was outstanding. If you want the best "tile guy" in central Indiana, Wayne is your guy.

Wayne did a great job. He promptly arrived each morning and worked all day. He was accommodating as the job evolved and features were changed. He provided tile samples for us to review well in advance of the scheduled work. He cleaned up each evening. We are planning to have him return to do a third bath this fall.

He's very good, so it took a while to get to my job. Once he started, it went pretty quickly. The even agreed to add on more work not agreed to originally. Bathroom is beautiful, I would use them again.

Wayne and his crew did top-notch work while completing our main floor bathroom remodel. Wayne accepted the unenviable task of fixing the mistakes made by a previous contractor, clearly explained to us what needed to be done, and then did an outstanding job of performing the work. Wayne was exceptionally professional and was always on-time in being at our house when he said he would be. Wayne was very responsive in all of his communications with us. Our overall experience with Wayne could not have been better. He was very thorough and detailed with all the work he did. We highly recommend Wayne and would definitely hire him again.

We are so pleased with the end product not only because it looks so good, but the quality of the installation is excellent. Wayne is truly an expert in all aspects of floor, shower and tub upgrade with the tile and the faucets. He also had suggestions on several things that enhanced the overall appearance. There was one situation where Wayne's patience was much appreciated as I questioned the color of tile I had selected. In the end he was right about how things will look as envisioned once everything is finished and "it all comes together." Cleanliness, promptness and politeness were part of Wayne's and his assistant's daily approach to work, which definately made the remodel easy to live through. We highly recommend him for bathroom remodels and updates, and would certainly hire him again.

Wayne arrived promptly evening every morning at 8:00 am. (except a couple days where he advised it would be 8:45.) He and his crew of 2 were very professional and personable. I stay home with my two young kids and feeling comfortable was important and they made me fill very comfortable. The meticulous tile work Wayne installed us unbeatable and just gorgeous! We couldn’t be happier with his hard work and would hire him again without question!

The overall process went very smoothly. I lucked in to getting on Wayne's schedule ahead of a couple of bigger jobs he had coming. Wayne and his crew worked very hard every day and his piece of the project was completed in six work days over seven work days. Wayne was punctual in arriving everyday and kept me informed of the each day's plan. Wayne worked around the counter top vendor as I had them complete their measurements and subsequent fabrication of the counter tops and shower pieces. Wayne's crew was able to handle the plumbing needs for my project which were minor - raised shower head, capped old tub plumbing and moved plumbing for new cabinets. Some small patches were necessary for the sub-floor as we have a leak in the old shower. Wayne also handled installing and finishing the drywall where the tub was removed. Wayne took care to look after my home during the construction by putting down tarps from the garage to the master bathroom every day. I utilized Wayne's contact at Louisville Tile for tile selection for the master bathroom. The tiling of the new shower and floor look great. You can tell he takes pride in his work.

Wayne lives up to the excellent reviews on Angie's list! We were so fortunate to find him! If we had only one word to describe Waynes work, it would be meticulous! The quality of the work he did is outstanding and he took excellent care of our home in the process! We will be using Wayne again and referring him to others!

We have used Wayne for our tile projects in two different houses, for shower and bath tiling and tile floors. You may have a wait to get on the schedule but he ALWAYS does an excellent job. Shows up on time every single day, works a full day, finishes your project once he starts it, does all work with care and precision, lays down tarps daily from the front door to the work area, cleans the work area daily, respects the house (the pets), and questions. I wish all contractors had as much pride in their work product as Wayne does. The shower looks great! A-1 contractor.

AMAZING! Wayne does an excellent job and am very happy with his work! We had him completely redo our master shower with new wall and floor tile and put in new glass enclosure wall and door. The bathroom looks so much better! Wayne is very professional! He always arrived promptly and cleaned up everyday - actually left my house better than when he arrived. This guy knows what he is doing and none can compare! If I called and left a message, he always responded to my calls in a timely manner. Will not use anyone else for any tile work - he has a customer for life!

Excellent! Beyond Expectations! Wayne's work ethic, skills, and artistry are in a class that's disappearing from our society. Even when we hire companies with an "A" rating, we've been somewhat disappointed in the past. Not this time. The experience with Bowden goes beyond replacing the old with the new. From the door of your home all the way to the work area itself, Wayne proves every single day that you've hired the right guy. I'm looking around the house trying to find jobs to hire him for! I'm thinking of having the yard tiled! Seriously. Bathroom remodels are expensive, and you want to get it right and be satisfied. Well, we're very happy and satisfied to have such a beautiful and artistic bath remodel. What's that worth? It feels like a new house!

Wayne was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He was patient with all my questions and was available to answer them. He did a great job! He even fixed a mirror in my bathroom.

Did a great job. He was able to match perfectly the tile in the bottom half of the shower to the original tile that remained. It was impressive. He was also more reasonable than other estimates.

Wayne did a complete bathroom makeover for me including removing a bathtub/shower insert and putting in a new tub, new tile floor and wall tile, new vanity top, new lighting, and new fixtures. From start to finish he helped me through the process and the results are fantastic. He listened to my ideas, and since he does so many of these types of jobs his ideas were actually better than mine. He said he would not let me make a mistake which was much appreciated. This is the second bathroom Wayne has done for me. His work is extremely professional and high quality and he is a trustworthy person to have in your home. If there was a higher rating than an "A" I would give it to him.

This is the second time we have used Wayne's services. He and Dan installed a new master shower a year ago and did a fantastic job. We had them come back and update our daughters small bathroom. They installed a new tile shower, tile floor, new vanity, top, medicine cabinet and light. They worked from the minute they got here until they finished for the day around 5:00. It took them about 3 days to do the job. They picked up after themselves every day and put down floor coverings on our hardwoods and carpet. They do high quality work and we will definitely use them again when we upgrade our master bathroom with new cabinets and floor tile. Wayne is very knowledgeable and helpful, and I feel very comfortable leaving them in my home without me being there. They did a great job!
