The leak in the PVC pipe was actually a result of manipulation and movement from sawing on nearby pipes by a Pool Store employee as he was replacing the main drain valve on 7/3/13. The day after the valve was replaced (7/4/13), my pool equipment room floor was wet for approx. 15 feet . I called the owner, Mike Sullivan, on 7/5/13 to report the leak and he stated that he would come by later that day to fix the leak and that it would only take about 5-10 minutes to repair. He never showed up. I called him a total of 6 times and still no show. Finally, I called Mike today (7/23/13), 20 days later, and he told me to "take my business elsewhere." The Pool Store opened my in-ground pool on 6/6/13 for the season and I still don't have prime in my plumbing. This is not the first time I have had issues with this company. Mike Sullivan renovated my pool 5 years ago. I had the pool re-plumbed and put in a new deck, as well as a new filter and pump. The entire process was a nightmare and took much longer than expected. Mike had no problem taking my $20,000 for the job but the minute I had an issue, it took forever to get anyone to respond. He was so busy drumming up more pool install jobs and couldn't/wouldn't take care of this customer. Unfortunately, I live in a small town and there aren't any neighboring towns that have reputable pool companies that travel to my area. The Pool Store has very poor customer service! I would not recommend this business to anyone. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
