Miss Tidy Cleaning Services

Description of Work: Cleaning of the common areas of my home (2 1/2 baths, kitchen, living room, sweeping the master bedroom).

Description of Work: I previously posted a review in November. I can't go back and edit it so I will post another review. We hired Chana to clean our home on a bi-weekly basis for four months. As I stated in my previous post, I thought she did a very good job of cleaning our home and have no complaints as far as that is concerned. One day after my home was cleaned I couldn't locate a pair of shoes and just blew it off thinking that Chana had probably moved them while cleaning and I would find them later (as this has happened before). To date I have not found those shoes. One day my daughter came and asked "Where are all of my jeans"? The laundry had all been done and they should've been in her room. Upon further searching she discovered several items of clothing she couldn't locate the total came to 4 pair of jeans, 1 pair of shoes, 2 sweaters, 1 ring, 10 tops and 1 jacket. I couldn't just blow this off as simply being misplaced: that's a lot of clothes. Later, as I went to my closet to retrieve a scarf to wear, it was not were I keep my scarfs. My family and I didn't want to believe that the person cleaning our home was responsible for taking things from us. On the last day Chana cleaned I told her we no longer needed her services. I told her about the missing items of clothing; even told her about seeing her in town with a scarf on that looked exactly like the one I no longer have. She told me she couldn't wear my daughters clothes or my shoes and that she would never take anything from us. She offered up possible solutions to what could've happened. I had already been over every possible scenario in my head several times. For example, if my house had been broken into wouldn't there be evidence of a break-in? Wouldn't there be other things missing (tv, computer, x-box) besides just my daughters clothing, my shoes and scarf if someone broke in? Why wasn't any of my husband's or son's things missing? Also, if someone would have broken into my home wouldn't the security alarm sound and notify the authorities? I set the alarm every morning when I left for work with the exception of the days Chana would clean. I thought perhaps maybe one of my daughters friends; except some of the items taken were given to my daughter by friends who could no longer wear them. One of the tops taken my daughter had just worn 2 days prior to our home being cleaned and no one else had been in the house. Chana did offer to only come and clean the house when either myself or my husband is home. I appreciate the offer but do not feel comfortable having her back in our home. I pray that God would convict the heart of the person responsible, and believe just as it says in Numbers 32:23 your sin will find you out.

Description of Work: We hired Miss Tidy's Cleaning Services to clean our house every other week. She does a wonderful job; the house always looks good and smells great when she finishes. Twice a year she also cleans all of the furniture and scotch guards it as well. She also cleans all of the carpets and cleaned all of the woodwork in the house with Murphy's Oil. She works very hard and is friendly and professional. We met prior to her coming to clean for her to walk through the house and give an estimate of what the service would cost.

Description of Work: The owner, Chana Marshall came out with another maid toclean my home including windows, carpets, baseboards and wood polishing.
