Mike Dooley Pest Control

We have used Mike Dooley Pest Control before here in the area. He did a good job for us at that time. To me, he seemed to know what he is talking about. He addressed the issue. I don't remember anything outstanding. He came out and looked around and identified the problem and the treatment worked. I believe the price was fair. I don't remember anything unusual. I would give him an 'A' across the board.

Mike Dooley is the owner of Dooley Pest control and you will typically work with him directly. I actually ran into Mike at a local and quot;bugfestand quot; event at Southeastway park where he was teaching on the issue of bedbugs. Wouldn't you know that a few months later I discovered one of my occupied rental homes had a bedbug infestation. I called Mike right away. Mike came out to the home and did an onsite inspection. He took a lot of time to look through many of areas of the home and helped educate the tenant and myself on what to look for and the life cycle of bedbugs, answering any questions we had. After his visit, it was very clear where we stood and what needed to happen to move forward with treating the problem. Mike scheduled a date to come out and treat the home and left a detailed list of instructions for the tenant to follow. Thankfully, I have tenants that wanted these things gone and were willing to do whatever it took to make that happen. He showed up promptly on the day and time he had scheduled and treated the home. He uses a unique combination of chemicals and freezing to destroy everything - the adults, nymphs and eggs. He makes 3 trips to the home over a 3 week period to inspect and ensure the bugs are gone. While heat treatments do work in many cases, there are downsides to being able to effectively reach all areas of the home and bring them up to the required temperature, so he does not use this method. Bedbugs can be a real nightmare, but with Mike's help (and extensive cooperation from you and your tenants), he can make resolution much easier. I say and quot;easierand quot; because the fact is, no matter who you go with, there is still going to be a lot of work in cleaning, moving and laundering stuff and you're going to have to pay to get the job done right. And yes, it is expensive. During my research on the issue, I ran across many stories of people trying to go with cheap solutions ($300-$500) when attempting to solve this problem and being disappointed to find it didn't work, only to have to continue to shell out even more money. Unfortunately, there is no easy out. You're likely going to be paying $1,000 - $2,500 to solve this problem. Mike gave me an estimate up front, and the final cost came in lower than he estimated. The size of the home, amount of and quot;clutterand quot; and level of cooperation are major factors. He's one of those people that actually cares about his reputation and getting the job done right the first time. He is selective about the jobs he takes on. If he feels he cannot realistically solve the problem (I.E., tenants have stuff piled everywhere and won't work with you), he will not take on the job. He guarantees the bugs gone after his treatment. Mike is a professional and I couldn't be more pleased with the services he provided for me.

We noticed that we had a mild infestation and he was quick to respond to our call. He came and confirmed our fears and gave us all the information that we needed to start our long journey on ridding our home from the unwanted guests. Once we completed our part of the treatment Mr. Dolley came and completed the initial treatment. We had an additional 4-5 follow appointments to be sure that all was going well. It was even a few months after the last visit and I was paranoided and called to asked him about the possibility of reinvestation he came over to check to help put my mind at ease. He is wonderful, informative, timely, affordable and a kind person. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you Mr. Dolley!

Mike always arrives on time, is extremely dependable, and responds promptly to any of our requests.

They are local and affordable. The price is pretty decent. I would recommend them.

They are reasonably priced and responsive. They seem knowledgeable, professional and get the job done. I really like them and would use their services probably at least once in a year.

Mike came the day after I called to evaluate the situation and recommended a simple solution to our problem. He did a complete check for structural damage and found none. He did outline what he could do if the simple method did not resolve our problem, but was very up front about expense if we went that route. If the problem persists, I would hire Mike to deal with the problem.

Took care of the problem, and the price was good.
