Awful experience. This was the worst encounter I've ever had with a "professional". I explained to him that I needed a handicap-accessible porch to be built for my father. I told him our situation has been a little bit of a nightmare because we had a previous contractor demolish the old porch and had not returned to rebuild. When I asked him if he could get an estimate, I asked if there was any way he could just drive by rather than knocking on the door and disturbing my father. He immediately became hostile and said he will "pass" on this job because it is "too complicated". A professional would have tried to work with their customer instead of dropping them. I've never contracted anyone to build something for me so, I might've sounded naive but I was certainly polite. Awful customer service. No sense of professionalism.

Installation was good. But nothing after that was as advertised. Ideal tells you that there is a lifetime warranty on the fence but as we found out - there is none. They forgot to install the plastic retainers on one end of the fence and the fence came apart and blew down. I contacted them on this but did not get any response. We ended up having to repair the fence ourselves! So don't be fooled by his marketing scheme of warranty for life because in reality - once they have your money - they are done with you - there is no warranty!!!!!!

Installation was great - timing was as quoted but they did not remove all of the old fencing as quoted!

Called for an estimate of project and received prompt response. Met with James at my home and discussed the fence options and layout. Received written estimate the following day. The job was performed in an outstanding professional manner. The job site was organized, clean and efficient with minimal distress to my lawn. The layout was challenging because the yard sloped and included a drainage ditch. They were able to exceed my expectations.

DO NOT LIKE THIS COMPANY. They built my uncles deck and fence and he really liked it so I told him to come out for an estimate. I told him I wanted a deck just like my uncles but no fence. He went and measured my uncles deck and then gave me an estimate. The estimate was TWICE what my uncle had paid for a deck and a fence and I just wanted a deck. It was also only 3 months later! I even showed him my uncles cleared check and told him he was a rip off. I have a flat, plain back yard so I know that had nothing to do with the cost. I think it's because I'm a single younger female that he thought he could take advantage of me. Nice guy but I was appalled by this business practice.

We had a uniformly outstanding experience with this company. They performed a large task, construction of a multilevel deck and outdoor kitchen, within the allotted time (3 weeks, which we had thought impossible, especially given the weather) and with superb results. They were a joy to work with and we would employ them again with no hesitation.

James Blaisdell and his crew out of Sharpsville, IN worked very hard and were very honest. They cleaned up extremely well afterward, and were accommodating and very easy to work with the whole way through.
