Double E Roofing

Company has not completed work. Have to call repeatedly and get run around. Owner will not return calls. Have caused damage to walls and foundation do to removel of gutters then abandoning job for work else where. Signed contract in 8-14-2019 and its now 1-13-2020. Took them for ever to apply for permit. They do not seem to have enough workers to do job. I have tried to talk with owner to let me find someone else to do work ,but the owner will not talk to me directly and instead has receptionist talk with us. I would never recommend this company. I have to call them every day and make threats to get them to send someone to clean up after they tore off siding and gutters. I had to buy magnet on a pole to pick up nails from my driveway which you would think they would do that. This job was not that hard that it has yet to be completed.

Performed warranty work on a home that we purchased. The roof was installed on April 2015. We purchased the home in October 2015. Noticed leaks in December 2015, had someone come out in January 2016 after multiple calls. Still leaking in March 2016, have not had a return call in over a week to fix it.

Called 6/1. Due to illness Mr Ellerman wasn't able to get out to give me estimate until 6/5.. He showed up to give me estimate and said they would be here 6/9 to do the roof. Didn't show up and no phone call to tell me they weren't going to show or when they would be here. I called him he said they would be here 6/11. 6/11 no show no call. I had to call him. I figured it was becasue it was raining but still expected a call to tell me the weren't coming and when he expected they would be. I ended up calling him. It's 6/24 now. Gutter guys and roofers started on 6/25 and done on 6/27. Did a good job, looked so much better than when last company did them. Job supervisor, Jose so nice and knowledgeable about the roof. He pointed out what the last company had done wrong and how he repaired it correctly. He answered every question I had. All his employees are nice and professional and once you get them here they work very hard and long hours. I had a turtle dove build a nest in the curve of one of the old downspouts and they took care to move the nest as she sat and watched them from a tree. Once they moved it she flew back on the nest with her egg and they went on with their work. Any little thing I pointed out that I didn't like while they were doing the work they fixed to my satisfacation. I even had a piece of metal fall of my garage prior to calling them and I asked Mr Ellerman if his guys could nail it back up for me since they have the tall ladders and he had them do it for no extra charge. The next rain about a week later when Mr (Doug) Ellerman and Jose came to get his money I pointed out 2 leaks in the gutters where the end and corner cap was and Jose repaired them while Doug walked around the roof and checked the work on the roof and the gutters. Jose double checked all the gutters even though I pointed out the only two leaks I saw. I didn't think that was bad with 190 feet of gutters made and installed. The only bad thing in the whole experience was the not calling to let me know they were not going to show up. I would arrange my schedule and sit here waiting, but they do a really good professional job once they started. Part of hold up was me changing my mind as to what color I wanted the rubber roof to be. That caused a 3 day delay.
