John was quick to respond to my call. We settled on a day and time. He called the night before to confirm and again 15 minutes before he arrived. He was very professional, reasonable and I will be calling him again for all my future needs. John is a wonderfully pleasant person to work with.

The first time we used John's service is couple years ago. He did a free estimate for us and explained the process. He looks professional and the price is reasonable, so we gave him the job. Then, when we needed anything, we called him. He never disappointed us. Got all the projects done beautifully and on time. No mess left, all cleaned up by him. Be flexible about his time, since it is all booked.

John did an awesome job installing the new cabinets and counter tops, sink and faucet. We had good communication threw out the process. He described in writing everything he was going to do and how much it would cost. He gave me a list of everything I needed to purchase for the project before hand. He arrived on date and time expected. He worked very quickly and paid attention to even the smallest of details. He is very neat and clean as he works. You can tell John has a lot of experience doing this work. He even straightened out the cabinet doors that were crooked which I didn't expect him to do! (Thank you John!) When I am ready for my next project around the house John will be the first one I call.

hn Krekovich enlarged the holes in the doors and replaced the 4 doorknob sets. He is professional, friendly, courteous, does excellent work and cleans up afterwards. I am very happy with his service and recommend him to everyone. He is #1 in our book.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the overall quality of the work done by John. The quality overall is outstanding. In addition, John was incredibly punctual and worked with us as we ultimately made numerous changes to the initial plan. Each time a change occurred, we discussed it, agreed on a solution and a price (if required). I would definitely hire John in the future. The only exception is that the tile in the bathroom floor are a little uneven and could have been laid in such a way to be more uniformly flat.

He is very professional. Came on time, in fact the second time I had to call him to change the time in the last minute and he graciously accepted.

Everything was smooth as could be. We asked him to provide a list of materials that he needed to complete the job because I wanted to shop around for the best prices and I wanted to pre-paint some of the trim. He provided the list and we went out and got the material. We set up an appointment for him to come out and install the doors. He showed up right on time, installed the doors, cleaned up his mess and all was good. The whole job took about 5 hours so it turned out to be about $80 an hour. A little high, but worth the money. My only complaint would be that I wish he would have covered the nail holes, but that is a job that I think I can handle.

John was very helpful through the entire process, recommending Decor Tile in St John. He was very punctual and cleaned up every night. The job went well, including some minor changes in project scope which included three(3) additional prehung doors for the bedroom entry doors. John did an excellent job on the ceramic floor and ceramic tile surround. He installed a recessed can light in the tub surround and reworked all the plumbing. The bathroom exceeded our expectation. I thought the pricing was reasonable.

John's price was a bit higher than what Lowes would have charged (if one buys the door from Lowes, which I didn't). John responded to my phone calls promptly and arrived on time with his superclean, well-organized truck. In fact, he stopped at the Menards store to pick up the door on his way to my house as agreed on. The job took longer to complete than he expected because the door jamb on one side was a bit bent, according to John. He made wedges to recreate a flat plane so the storm door would close tightly against the jamb, although it did not close squarely. Overall it was a functionally fine job but the cosmetic flaw was visible. I don't know enough to judge whose fault it was. John cleaned up all trash and was very professional all the time. I'd hire him again and in fact recommended him to one of my neighbors for their storm door job.

Jon arrived when he said he would and worked all day to complete the job. Actually gave us a reduction in price at the end of the day because he said the structural component went easier than he had anticipated. This was a pleasant surprise because we had already agreed to the price. Good, fair businessman.

He first was very professional and helpful in explaining option and telling me some things that i didn't understand. He's very personable and just a good guy.

John had to remove everything from the main bathroom, including the tile floor. He helped me with the choices for the tub and the tub surround. He put down drop clothes so my carpeted stairs and hallway would not get dirty. He installed the new tile, toilet, vanity and sink, tub and tub surround shower and sink faucets. He fixed the walls where they needed it. In the master bath he had to start from scratch. He put in the vanity and sink,toilet, floor tile and shower. The shower has tile on the walls and a seat.He also put the baseboard trim on. He removed the garbage everyday. There was never a big mess as you would suspect with this big a remodel job. He also did some little side jobs. Everything he did is perfect. He is very thorough and meticulous. He is also a very knowledgeable person. He knew a great place for me to order my tile. His price was very comparable to the other quotes I received for the job. I will use him again. I highly recommend him.

I called him to come out and something came up so we rescheduled. He was going to come out again, but I called him to reschedule again. He rudely said "what day do you want?" And I told him I would be available any day, but Thursday. He just sounded irritated with me because I was rescheduling my appointment. I just left him a message letting him know I was cancelling my appointment.

John came by to take measurements on 3/15. Asked us what we wanted, he made suggestions quoted his price and asked 50% up front as deposit and to purchase materials. Totally appropriate and fair. Told us that the shelves would be ready for installation on 3/29 and it was completed as promised. John is very professional, quiet and nose to the grindstone type. It has been a really good experience. we have found our mr fixit for our household projects. GREAT JOB!!!!THANK YOU...

John was timely in getting back to us with an estimate (which was based on an hourly rate). His quote came in under another carpenter and we decided to give him a try. He set the date and arrived on time. He completed the work within the time estimate. The work was nicely done and he kept everhtying neat and tidy. We would definitely call him for other work in the future.

John was very cordial and professional throughout the entire process. He was timely with his quote and his service. The old wood floor in a small bedroom was in bad shape and very uneven with a dip of about 2-3" across the entire width of the floor. John had to remove some of the boards in the original floor and at one point had the floor open to the crawl space below, which was really scary to me! It took him about 8 hours of carrying lumber and plywood and sawing and drilling but the floor is now perfectly even and sturdy and ready for new laminate. He protected my floors where he had to walk to and from his truck. John even moved a couple of big old tv's I had stored in the room when he got here and offered to move them back in when he was finished so I wouldn't have to, which was above and beyond the call of duty. He did a great job of cleaning up and other than a perfectly level and sturdy sub-floor there was no trace of him being here after he left. He is already working on a quote for another project for me. Highly recommend.

Our biggest project was the fireplace. We covered the existing brick with travertine that I had previously purchased and replaced the doors. It was a huge job and John did a wonderful job and his work looks stunning. The brick was not even on the fireplace so not only did he have to cut and lay the travertine he had to first cut down the decorative pieces to be flush with the other bricks. I could not be happier with the finished product it's simply beautiful. He also did various other jobs around the house for us hanging lights and fans, fixing damage to the window trim, installing new baseboard, removing built-in bookshelves and entertainment center and patching up the holes left behind, removing an extra unnecessary outlet, checking other electrical things to ensure they were properly installed, replacing the rusted out sink drain, and replacing our water heater. The water heater was not something we had originally hired him for but while he was working the final day of our to do list he discovered our water heater had broken. It had water spewing out of every single hole and was leaking horribly. Before I had even returned home he had called and found a replacement and had an estimate and stayed later than expected to fix it. We were leaving out of town the next day so had he not discovered the leak and addressed it right away it could have potentially caused us much much more money. I really appreciate his thoroughness, professionalism, and punctuality. We will be using him for our future projects and recommending him to anyone in need of a contractor/handyman.

John was professional and extremely knowledgeable. His quote was competitive and fair. Unfortunately, our project has been postponed. I would recommend John to anyone who is looking for a contractor.
