Description of Work: John wouldn't do the work for me because of Crown Point. I feel very disappointed with him and I'm still waiting for someone to fix my garage. |Unhappy customer

Description of Work: Replace floor in toilet.

Description of Work: Fixed a downspout on the gutters.

Description of Work: I used John Krekovich Construction to do some sheetrock work in the garage and he framed in a bathroom.

Description of Work: We called John to ask him for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. He said he'd be in the area Saturday afternoon and would be glad to give us an estimate. He called the night before to confirm. On Saturday, we left a luncheon early so we could meet him. At the appointed time he called to see if we were home, and then said he charges $60 to come out because we were out of his 20 mile limit. I asked if he could give us a very rough estimate of when he would be available to do the work if we paid the $60 for the estimate and he could not provide that without coming out to the house. Other remodelers have given an estimate of when they might be available for a major project and we had called John in hopes he might be able to do the work earlier than others. Had he informed us up front about the $60 charge, we might well have felt better about working with him, but we very uncomfortable moving forward with him when he waited until the 3rd phone conversation and only at the very last minute to inform us. We elected not to continue with him.

Description of Work: John installed a fan/light fixture in our master bathroom (and a corresponding vent in the roof) to alleviate the moisture that accumulates there. It took him the better of the day, but he did an excellent job, both very thorough and very clean. We will definitely get in touch with him again for similar projects.
