We are *not* a residential window company, but will try to help if we can, even if it's recommending a trusted competitor. Our main business is the measurement, design and installation of tempered glass shower doors. We install everything from economically priced sliders up to high end heavy glass custom enclosures. We have over 50 years of combined experience with these installs, as well as experience with mirrors, commercial windows and doors and other glass related projects (shelves, furniture, offices - etc). We buy from the best and well known vendors in the business - in fact 2 of the owners worked at the largest domestic manufacturer of shower doors for 7 years in sales and R&D. We have the connections to make sure you get the look and feel you want in your bathroom. We offer no charge quotes, 1 week turn around on glass, and a lifetime warranty on our work.

We are a roofing and remodeling company. We do bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, flooring (tile, ceramic, vinyl, laminate, wood), room additions, drywall, roofing, siding and painting. We have been in this business for 15 years. We have a reliable and dedicated crew who will put your needs first.

"Josh used the wrong connector in both our showers. He replaced one of them and the leaking has stopped. However he refused to replace the one in our main bathroom. The leak was in the wall and we did not see it until it had warped our brand new laminate floor that we had installed. He cussed out my husband, told me there was nothing I could do about his NOT repairing his work and refused to even replace the leaking part. My husband had to seek help to get the leak stopped and now we will have to pay someone to come in and repair the damage he caused. He claimed it was a faulty part but the plumber said he used the wrong kind of connection for the copper pipes we had and that it would always leak. Now we are worried that the shower he supposedly fixed will also leak. We also hired him to do a job for us in Illinois which he was paid in advance for and refuses to complete. He wanted to bring his entire family to the job site and camp out. When we told him we had heavy equipment out there operating and he could not bring his kids, he refused to finish the job. He told me that he talked to his attorney and that there is nothing I can do about his shoddy work or his refusal to complete the jobs or his refusal to fix the damage he caused. He showed up late and left early many days and caused the job to take much longer then it should have. He put a whole in our drywall and fixed the drywall but had to repaint the bedroom to match the color. He did not remove the wall paper at the top of the wall to do the paint job correctly and he painted about a three inch stripe of white on the ceiling on one side that sticks out like a sore thumb because he did not repaint the rest of the ceiling. He put in an outlet for me but the whole is too big and the outlet cover does not cover all of it. He did not put the trim up in the shower along the floor and there is a gap. He did not use the correct caulk around the tub and never came back to replace it. On the house in Illinois he put down the floor but did not mark or cut out the vents in the floor. The gap he left next to the wall is too wide and can't be covered by the trim. We have to pay someone to fix the gap and we have to pay another person to do the floors in both bathrooms that he was already paid to tile. The shower he put in our one bathroom does not drain properly. The drain is not the lowest place in the floor and I have to manually make sure the water drains. The shelf he put in my shower is too long and sticks out past where the shower curtain goes so I have to cut and tape the shower curtain around the shelf to keep from getting water all over the floor every time I take a shower. He was very friendly at first but very belligerent and cussed us out when he was asked to complete his work and/or repair the damage he caused. He brought his wife to the jobsite and she tried to start a fight with me. I do not want to fight. I do not even want him to ever come back into my home. I do think he needs to pay us the money he cost us and the money he was paid for work he did not do. I also do not want to see him do this to anyone else."

Kitchen and bathroom remodels FAQs

The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.

Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The best time of year to remodel your home is late winter and early spring when fewer homeowners are thinking about projects and pros are more available. Also consider the type of remodel you want and plan ahead as much as possible. For example, the summer is a great time of year to update your fireplace, but winter is a better option for fixing foundations and building room additions.

There are a few things you can do to prepare for a home remodeling project to ensure a smooth construction process. Creating a detailed budget can help you stay on track, especially with the excitement of new construction or upgrades. It’s also beneficial to map out a remodeling timeline with your contractor to have clear expectations. In addition, you’ll want to prepare the space that will be worked on ahead of time—this could be tarping furniture or entirely removing belongings from the room.

Home renovation insurance, sometimes called “dwelling under renovation coverage” or “builder’s risk insurance,” helps financially cover any damages that occur during the home renovation process. While different from typical homeowners insurance, many homeowners insurance policies already include some sort of home renovation insurance or offer it as an additional add-on. While this insurance isn’t necessary for every home remodeling project, it’s best to contact your insurance company to verify if it’s needed and what your coverage options are.
